You can tell the owners take great pride in their home. This place was spectacular! They have done an amazing job decorating and have done a wonderful job with all of the little things. They even offer blankets in a basket next to the swing out front. Great attention to detail. They were so helpful (we're thinking about moving to TX) and the breakfast was great.
My only suggestion would be to have a box of kleenex in the bathroom by the sink and to have a pen and paper handy in the rooms.

From the minute I arrived I felt like I had arrived to family. Luey was absolutely angelic and inviting and made me feel at home telling me to feel at home, which I did. The property was recently renovated (in last 2 years) and no detail was left untouched. The Honeymoon Suite I stayed in, was sparkling clean and the linens were fresh and inviting. To be clear, I’m still at the property anticipating breakfast! I can smell it being prepared and am excited at the prospect. I HIGHLY recommend The Planation House and look forward to my return!

We had an exceptional experience at the most elegant Bed and Breakfast in Texas. The owners give you a sense of family. The room was very comfortable, the shower, closet, the bed was fantastic.
Leaving, we wish we could have stayed longer.

I was there for only one night, but was treated to an amazing family recipe German Pancake next day, and it was wonderful chatting with the host and the other guests at the time! I was made to feel right at home, and I couldn't have asked for more! The property is absolutely stunning, and it was perfectly located close to the activities I was there for. It felt good to stay at a place with so much history. Must visit again!

The locations was great and the hosts were off the charts accommodating and friendly. I loved porch swings, hang out space, bedding, coffee, and specialized Plantation House scent.
The shower in the room was a bit small for my 6'4" husband.

The breakfast was marvelous. Luey made us her version of German pancakes. She added fresh fruits, bacon, and whip cream - it was yummy :) When we got to the address I was thinking what's going on? But once we drove through the beautiful fairytale like gate and entered premises it blew me away. Simply gorgeous, the premises, the house inside and out.
I feel the room rates could be a bit lower however, overall well worth it.

Such an very beautiful place to be peaceful and relaxing and such great atmosphere and good homemade big Breakfast and there coffee too was very delicious. My getaway from now on. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend for spring break 2021.Come as strangers,leave as family 😊
