I liked the property because the location was very nice and quiet , walking distance to the Galleria mall and the Waterwall. The staff was very accommodating……I was staying on the 13th floor (executive floor), so I don’t know if that had anything to do with it? However, the pool (2nd floor) was nice and quiet and I spent a few hours there each day. I did note that there were rooms that had sliding doors and a seating area that was surrounding the pool area, so I thought those rooms would have been nice to stay in. Also the Astros won the Superbowl the nights I was there, so the downtown area was madness and horrible (we visited to go to a wedding there), and so we were very glad NOT to be staying in the downtown area.(about 20 min away). Also we noted that the downtown and surrounding areas had many many homeless , bums etc, so that was kind of scary for us. ( it was our first visit to Houston and/or Texas so we weren’t that impressed honestly lol. ( I was traveling with my 20 yr old son for the wedding ).

The property was a little worn in some areas. Maybe needs some updating, ( I’m not sure how old it is) but overall it was very pleasant and clean and if I had to go back , I would stay there again. The balcony was a bit small . Only a standing balcony , not enough room for chairs. It was a little pricey , but being the Super Bowl was going on , we didn’t really have much choice.

The location was excellent. Walking distance to great shops and restaurants. The water wall is also walking distance and a must see. We always felt safe in that neighborhood. The breakfast was good. They will make you an omelette upon request. The servers went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Nice lobby. Fast elevators. Comfortable bed. Our view of the city was gorgeous. 2 events took place during our visit. The first was a Miss Houston pageant and the 2nd was a gaming convention so that was fun to see them inside the hotel.

The pool area was pretty and clean but we wished the water was heated. Also there is a bar area but it wasn't in use. We were there during Easter break and it would have been nice to have a drink by the pool without having to bring it down ourselves. The hotel is expensive and they make you pay for parking in addition. The balcony is small with no furniture out there.

Our first room was in a very noisy area and they moved us quickly. Everyone we encountered - from the valet staff, to check in, to the breakfast buffet staff- was so kind, helpful, and happy. My husband said it is the best customer service he has ever received. The beds were also very comfortable and the rooms very clean. We will definitely stay there again.

I can't think of anything they could have done better. It was an excellent experience.

Staff was really nice. Fancy hotel for the price. Great views of the city. Really close to the galleria.

Don't like you have to pay $30 for parking. Breakfast was over $50 for 2 . No microwave in the room.

The breakfast was very overpriced 54.00 for 2 people and the selection was not good if we stay there again we will Uber to another restaurant for breakfast I would not have minded paying the money if we had more choices no grits oatmeal and should of been able to order omelets

The location was great, could walk to many places.

Wanted to use the pool, but the furniture was not inviting. Most was broken or almost broken. Must be replaced.

for the price I pay I was expecting a little luxury. to say I was getting executive suite. there was no microwave, again not sure if they belong in the executive suite. I thought the room would have been bigger with a living room space. Being an executive suite I was expecting more

Great location, very convenient & the balcony view was amazing. Very helpful & polite staff, I wish they had a tip jar to show my appreciation as to how great they did their job & helped me with my questions. Very clean room & comfortable bed, nice & spacious. Will be returning soon.

With the balcony faced north post oak or the expressway for a better view but nonetheless the view on south post oak was nice, very enjoyable

it was old. the ceiling was two tone because it had been painted. there was a door to an adjoining room that had obviously been removed and was patched up poorly. looked like motel 6
