Loved the location, cleanliness, caring and professional staff, and organization of the room. It was just what my family and I needed for that weekend.

The only couple of things we didn't like were: 1. the very high pressure of the shower. It was not comfortable under the water and felt like you were being blasted and, 2. Our debit card info was stolen after we'd purchased something from the vending machine. We found charges on our bank account that we didn't recognize the morning after our stay.

I liked that the motel was clean, smelled clean and my room was clean. This building is new and modern. Very nice and not frilly. There is security outside 24/7 and inside if needed. Parking lot is very well lit. Only people staying there are allowed in building. Any visitors have to check in first. There are double doors to enter building. Second door only opens w your room keycard. All of staff and housekeeping were very friendly and very accommodating. The friendly lady at front desk offered to help me put uber app on my phone. She told me the different ways to get to airport. View from my window was beautiful. The location was close to airport everything was great! Loved my stay. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend for anyone to stay here.

Wished bed was more firm and heavy. Bed needs more support underneath. And bed more secure to frame. Bed would easily move around frame. I had to keep putting the bed back in place. If I didn't, then I might bang my knee on the metal frame. But I slept very well.

The room (single occupancy ones) had enough sp ace for one person and a bus stop for Austin International Airport is a convenient 5 minute walk from the hotel. The room was cleaned up on entry and well tempered for the Austin heat! And the manager was so kind and understanding and a slight early check in. I recommend coming here especially if you want to save money by taking a bus (only 1.25 one way from the airport via #20 bus) and not spending 200 a night.

I honestly can't really complain. It is a Motel 8 after all. The rooms aren't entirely soundproof and you can hear anything that's in the hallway, but it is a budget hotel

Close to the airport & freeway, free parking. Basic but looks completely, refreshed, clean and safe. Laminate floor in the room. Decent coffee available in the morning. Everything I needed for a quick stay.

Would have rated 10 except that there was a very loud male guest who wouldn’t shut up all night (drunk?) and I woke to see a single small bug crawling on the ceiling that looked like a cockroach. Although that sounds creepy, they’ve been a reality in every hotel I’ve visited in the USA - even the high end ones.

I'm a traveling nurse, and I must say this motel 6 bumps most high profile name hotel that I have stayed in the past. The security of the hotel and grounds is awesome. And I love the fact that housekeeping is done on a daily basis. Thanks to the housekeeping staff that would clean my room(#415) after I left for work was a blessing. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Austin on an assignment.

There are no cons for this place.

Front desk person was extremely friendly and helpful. Made us feel safe and comfortable by explaining that the doors lock at night and that he would be there throughout the evening. Even gave us a list of open food places we could get food at that time. The room had a long list of tv channels to choose from and the air conditioning was working well.

The room looked very clean but whatever cleaner they use is what they clean public toilets with so it has this bathroom smell that you just can’t get past. Also the pillows were really really thin so sleeping was hard.

This is a well maintained, clean hotel close to the Airport. It wasn't my first choice, I wanted a more central location, but it was SXSW and everything else was sold out. So I ended up there. The staff was polite and helpful, the room was clean.

Had to wait a bit for hot water in the morning, but it would come eventually so no big deal. The main complaint for me was the location, which is far away from the center of the city. It is definitely not walkable and I also found I can't really use the rental scooters or bikes, which are otherwise a great way to get around in Austin. So I had to Uber/Lyft at least twice per day, sometimes four times (to leave my laptop after workday and before going out for beers). This added to the cost of the stay. It's not the fault of the hotel though. But next time I will go for something more central.

Super clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Free coffee. Great location. Will book again when we go to Austin . Easy check in and out . Very glad we booked . Price was great also . 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

The hotel pretty much matched the description and other reviews and was a decent value for the price. It was very helpful to be able to bring our dog along and not have to pay extra. Though there is no breakfast, the coffee in the lobby was very good. I didn't use the vending machines in the lobby, but I was impressed by all the different offerings. (I even saw my husband's favorite cereal!). We basically just drove up from Houston to swim at Deep Eddy and Barton Springs. Those locations were both about 15 minutes away, so that was convenient. The a/c and WiFi worked well.

I was a little worried when I could hear the TV and some of the other guests talking in the evening. The walls may have been a bit thin. But that didn't go on for a long time, and after that I didn't hear anything. There were just 2 pillows. There isn't a lot of parking immediately in front of the hotel. We came and went to different places and sometimes had to park in the lot down the hill. But it's not a big deal. The room is small and didn't have a coffeemaker or a fridge. However, those items were all mentioned in other reviews. It would have been nice to have them, but last minute beggars can't be choosers. If we ever drive up to Austin to do some more training, we might stay there again.

No frills budget hotel for a good sleep close to the airport. Reception check in was a little slow and they were fumbling a little. Other than that very clean room for a 1 night stay.

They charge a 50 dollars deposit and they have not reimburse it yet. When I checked out, they warned me that they were non smoking and keep the deposit if they found evidence of this. I am a non smoker. Ill update later after the reimbursement.
