The only thing was the room smelled kinda of musty and in one spot the carpet was wet. I didn’t complain though since she was able to get us in just a little early than regular check in time. Hot tub and pool area needs some cleaning.

Clean and great breakfast!
I was charged $104 on my way to Austin because I got a phone call if I didn't pay for the pre authorization my reservation would have to be canceled then $94 when I arrived, then another separate charge of $50 deposit(which this $50 was understandable), then a day later the full amount of $200 something was taken out of my debit again a day later. So I was charged double for this stay of just 2 nights. When I had made my reservation, it said I didn't have to pay anything till I got there....

I usually choose LaQuinta close to where my planned activity will be because I've never had a bad experience with this hotel chain and can usually get the accommodations I want.
There was an empty parking lot next to the hotel and there were two cars there at one time spinning "doughnuts", for lack of a better word. They disturbed us and kept us awake for a while. I do not blame the hotel for it because it was something out of their control but it did take away from a restful night of sleep.

The hotel was in a good location it was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. They have all Dove products for you to use. The lady that checked us out was very nice and professional. We were greeting by her with a smile she was awesome. The breakfast smelled so good
I did not appreciate the rudeness of the guy when we checked in. He left us standing at the counter while he was texting on his phone before he decided to come to the counter to help us.

They had breakfast packed in a small brown paper bag because of the China-flu concerns. It consisted of milk, cereal, yogurt, muffin, fruit, and granola bar. They also had an area where you could get coffees or hot chocolate. I thought it was pretty awesome since most places just quit providing any breakfast and blame it on the China-flu.

The staff was very friendly at check in. The pool was very nice and the breakfast was good and had a nice variety of things to choose from. We got rooms on the first floor, which rarely happens when booking online.
We didn't get a room together, but that was no problem. I like to grab a cup of coffee from the lobby and it was cold. They need to check that more often.

Everything was wonderful. The front desk associates were all very pleasant. The girls doing the breakfast were pleasant and smiley. The Housekeepers were very nice and helpful. The pool was wonderful. Everyone was amazing. No complaints. Looking forward to coming back.

Alarm clock in room continued to make noise in the morning.... even after we turned it off. Ultimately had to unplug it to stop the beep from occurring every half hour.

The location was convenient, right off of the highway. The room was spacious and great for the price. they did have breakfast.
Some of the staff was not the most helpful and seemed confused. Different staff members charged different prices for different items at the store.

The front desk staff was great. The evening front desk staff was even better. Very friendly and helpful.
The other staff (house keeping, breakfast staff) were quite rude. Not very friendly nor even a smile. The restroom in the room needed some fixing.
