Great value. We enjoyed the 24hr amenities of coffee, water, tea and mineral water in the lobby area It was at a great location with great restaurants close by as well as Walmart and Heb minutes away. Parking is free and it's away from the center of Austin so traffic isn't as bad. Very minimalistic but the room has everything you need. Our room had a tiny fridge which kept our waters cool and ready for the day's activites. We loved that getting to the center was only 20 min away. We would definitely stay again.
The AC didn't cool as much as we would have liked. It wasn't a deal breaker as it was still working. Also, since it's a minimalistic hotel so there's no closet and drawers but there were little cubbies and hooks to hang things in various places around the room. Just different for my OCDness

I love how clean it was the ladies at this hotel really do an amazing job at keeping everything clean and organize around the hotel! specially in the breakfast area. I will come back just for this factor.
What I wasn’t fully satisfied with was the interior door lock was not set up properly so my door lock from the inside and I struggle to get in, I had to push the door with my strength to force it to open. (me being a fuller women) This is a concern as a solo female traveler because anyone could pretty much just force the door open if they really wanted to get in.

I enjoyed my stay. It was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The area is safe. George was very welcoming and offered assistance should I need anything at all. Breakfast was usual cereal, mandarins, yogurt in addition to bagels with cream cheese and hot omelette--very pleased. I do wish that it had a pool as it was hot as hell outside. Would be a good idea, developers. Thank you!

Couldn't have met my needs better. I was by myself visiting my son. The location was 6 minutes from his house. The hotel was clean, as was my room, and all was new and not worn. I appreciated the lack of carpet in the room. The breakfast was more than adequate. This will be our go-to hotel when visiting our son in the future.

I loved their breakfast biscuits! The hotel felt really cozy. I loved that they have the coffee/tea/water station 24/7. The water temperature was always just perfect.
Hard water 😄. It was a challenge to remove the soap. Also, I didn’t like that the staff didn’t mention anything other than the room number. I wasn’t told there was a gym and I wonder if they have a pool?

The parking spaces are extremely narrow. The car that parked next to me was so close that I had to get in the passenger door and crawl over the gear shift to get into the driver's seat. And it is not because either of us parked on the line, we were both centered, but the spaces are very narrow.

The customer services of the staff person who did our check in when we arrived was very poor, she was kind of upset or boring, we got a bad impression at first but I am glad the rest of the staff were absolutely friendly.

There was a marijuana smell in the common areas. also, the room had a weird odor that gave me allergies. Someone left a pair of shoes at the lobby on Saturday afternoon and it was almost Sunday noon and the shoes were still there.

the staff is very kind. the coffee in the main lobby is great (we are 2 Colombians and agreed the coffee was great) and the breakfast is also very good. I will stay again at the Avid hotel.

First time at this location and it was perfect for me and my 2 boys. The rooms were clean and just the right size for us. The beds were also comfy, and I liked that they provided pump hand soap in the restrooms.
There wasn’t nothing that I didn’t like.
