Highland Manor Inn

We were stuck in traffic and wasn't able to make the 10 pm check in. We called and were able to leave our key outside where we could get it and get into our room so late.

The room was clean , staff was great , bed was comfortable! Shower was refreshing!

Room was dated but clean!

The beds were a bit harder than I like but they were clean and the pillows were nice.

Great location away from all the traffic and noise of Pigeon Forge. It was quiet and peaceful. We had little interaction with the staff but what we had was pleasant, everyone was friendly and helpful.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Highland Manor. We were very impressed the first time with how clean everything was. This time was not quite as good. The beds were too soft or worn out. We were glad that there were two beds in the room because both of us in one bed was impossible. Neither of us slept well.

The setting near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is beautiful. We really enjoyed relaxing by and swimming in the pool. The grounds are peaceful and beautifully landscaped. The room was comfortable.

While the breakfast room is lovely and overlooks the mountains, the continental breakfast was pretty minimal. It would have been nice to have yogurt or fruit (apples or bananas) as an option along with the cereal.

I loved the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the room was bigger than I expected for an older motel, it was spotless and the location was perfect-away from the busy tourist areas but close enough to get to everything. It’s right outside of the Great Smoky Mountains Park and had restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance. The views of the mountains were breath-taking.

I wish there had been a gym, but it’s an older motel and it’s run very, very well.

We waited until last minute to book our trip so we had limited options. However, our stay was a pleasant surprise. This stay was straight out of a Hallmark movie. Cute, quaint, homey feel. The rooms were a great size. We were outside of the hustle and bustle but still close enough to Pigeon Forge.

The only issue we had was that our hot water would come and go in the shower. The breakfast was very limited.

Location in Townsend was great. Wanted something close to the National Park and to restaurants/shopping/museums. The property delivered. Staff was exceptionally pleasant. Breakfast was "expanded continental," which was nice. Swimming pool was great. Would stay again.

Rooms were a little dated, although there has been some upgrades since we were there about 10 years ago. Price was about $20-$30 higher than what I would have valued it at.

We loved our room. It had a running dehumidifier in it. 2 queen beds with mini fridge and microwave. Our room was very clean. We had a nice porch with 2 chairs. The staff was wonderful. We will definitely be back

There's isn't anything we didn't like. The pool closes at 10pm. We wished it had stayed open a couple more hours later
