Vacation Lodge

Our room was great, the office staff were wonderful. They offered to give me the room I thought I had booked to begin with at a discount. I paid the extra $45.00 to get our room in the new part.

I booked our room through Booking .com, the pictures of the room were all you can go on when you book!! When we arrived, our room or building was ABSOLUTELY nothing like the pictures on the Booking.com website!!! The hotel has a new and a old building, 2 separate buildings!! Booking.com should show both buildings, but they only show the new one. Booking.com was very misleading with the type of room and the overall building of the hotel. I paid the extra $45 to stay in the new building. Bottom line I thought I had a good deal for the night but ended up paying more than I would had somewhere else.

I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of our room. I was hesitant about booking because of the low price. I thought the price reflected the hotel's standards, but that's not the case. It was very clean, the indoor pool was a nice size and the hot tub is a little bigger than it appears in the picture. Also, very surprised at the breakfast. The food was good and there was an attendant making sure food was stocked and it stayed clean. All the people that worked there that I came into contact with was very nice, and seemed glad to help you. Also, the TV has a lot of channels, I don't think there was anything like HBO or showtime, but lots of channels to choose from for children. This is an excellent and economical place to stay for a family with children.

I did not like the shared balcony. It did not cause any problems, but deterred me from using it. I couldn't relax out there knowing a stranger may come out anytime.

Staff was very pleasant. The indoor pool and spa was super nice. The convivence of restaurants was great within walking distance. I felt fairly safe.

The room could use some plaster and paint. The room felt dark and damp during our stay. We could use more towel racks or hooks to hang towels and swimwear.

The hot breakfast every morning was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The area w/the fire pit and outside around the indoor pool w/ the grills was nice and we could watch the fireworks from Dollywood right out on our balcony :)

Friendly greeting at check in! Room was clean & spacious! I booked a junior suite & it had 2 rooms. 1 with sleeper sofa & dining set, the other had 2 queen beds. Bathroom was large & handicap accessible.Every staff Interaction was pleasant. I could tell customer service was high priority! Indoor (with hot tub) & outdoor pool were nice. Fire pit area was nice! Walking distance to many restaurants & gift shops.

exterior looks older (but inside makes up for that) I would’ve liked a mirror in the bedroom to help with multiple people getting ready at the same time

I like the location.

The room was old and walls are dirty. Alot of fruit flies coming out of the sink. The sink itself is not draining well. The smell of the room is really bad. Good thing we have a lysol anti bacterial lemon scent spray. I won't go back to this place. Not unless we are checked in a newer building they have but for some reason they let us stay in an old dirty room/building.

We liked the size of our room and how clean it was. We could tell they had swept and mopped the floors. The hot breakfast was great and the location is perfect! This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel because it is a good price for all you get.

The coffee maker in our room did not work and the ice machine is .25 to use and it still did not give us ice. We ended up going next door to the gas station for snacks. The indoor pool area is a little small and the king sized bed only had 3 pillows.

We didn't eat the breakfast. But staff was extremely friendly. The whole place was extremely clean. We got a text message before we arrived, when we arrived giving us important info about breakfast, pool etc... Then after we checked out.

The only complaint that I have was when we were showering our water would get cold when others used their water .

location is great. suite room is very spacious. breakfast was good enough to get my family by. Lady that works in the breakfast area was polite and on top of everything.

my 2 yr old can open the door when he is ready to go. no extra bolt latch or chain to secure the door. Very minor but had to stay on top of that.

Comfortable beds, clean linen, good repair great value for area. Location great.

Coffee pot in room was not washed. Ice machine cost $.25 and one machine not working and was not marked so I wasted a quarter not realizing it not plugged in.
