Ski Mountain Lodge

Location was right at the end of town. Very quiet and the river was right outside our room

The room decor was perfect for the Smoky Mountains! The motel was within walking distance of EVERYTHING you could want to get to in Gatlinburg. The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. We parked 10 feet from our room, that was nice! The room was clean. I would stay here again!

I read many reviews. They were either 1/5 or 5/5. I thought most of the 1's were pretty nit-picky. The motel changed management a month ago. They are making improvements. Be patient. The only thing I can really think of is that the "comforter" was the thickness of a second sheet. Especially in the winter/early spring, the bedding needs to be warmer. I"d definitely stay here again!

we expected a room with two queen beds. We ended up with a 2br with lots of space. My husband and I had our own space while my 8 yo and 7yo boys had their own we all liked not being on top of each other. the staff are very friendly they are like anyone you meet you have to talk and get to know these people. I’m not sure why people are saying the staff are bad unless they were being rude to the staff. If we needed something they were right on it. We actually sat down and talked to some of the staff and they have some really good stories and advice on where to go. I understand that this place might have been a ran down mess at some point but the NEW OWNERS are trying. The rooms are clean the showers are clean and mold/mildew free the bedding looks and feels new. I honestly don’t have any complaints. Don’t listen to any of the negative reviews take your chances you wont regret it.

Cleanliness and location were to perfection.

I did not use the key, I read the instructions and looked for one but didnt need a key since the code was the same to my room. I'm not sure if I did anything wrong but overall everything was nice for the price I paid. Also the lighting was in odd positions like maybe some beside the bed incase you get up in the middle of the night not by the restroom where I can turn the restroom light on.

The property was very clean and the bed was a lot more comfortable than the one at the Hampton in Kodak that we stayed at the night before. Very cute little room, looked newly remodeled. check in and out was very simple, little lock box by the door had the key in it. It is also within very close walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. Room had a Roku tv with Netflix and other streaming apps. We would definitely stay here again.

The main staff dude that had his puppies with him was awesome. Let me have a late check out. Very friendly too! Smiled when I walked in and had a nice voice!

Found small shards of glass on the floor in the room. No sprinklers. Needs like a caddy or something for the shower as there was no space to put my items put the sink when showering.

Easy and secure access to room. Staff were friendly. No loud neighbors or construction. Walking distance to strip.

Hard to find with small signs, no closet space for clothes. Small kitchen would have been nice.

The rooms were quant and comfortable. The staff was great. Any issues was handled quickly. We enjoyed staying there and plan on returning. It's not far from the strip. I'd give it 5 stars. The personal made a good place great
