Chattanooga Marriott Downtown

The hotel and staff is very nice and accommodating. I am a bit of a princess and like to have a lot of towels, some hotels give me a headache about this, but not this one!! Every single request I had was completed with a smile. The room and amenities are very clean and comfortable. Even the valet guys are really pleasant and friendly. I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. The walk is a bit farther than some other hotels, but I feel like it’s worth it, considering how nice this place is.

Our TV and a couple lamps weren’t working upon arrival. I called the front desk and within 10 mins, two techs were there. Turns out the guest prior to us changed the wiring around to accommodate some games, so they were easy fixes. This isn’t really something that upset me, but was the only thing that didn’t work right.

we were told there was a breakfast buffet & it didn’t exist. we ordered off the breakfast menu & the food was absolutely awful. my brother ordered decaf coffee that had grinds floating in it, orange juice was sour, eggs runnie, grits lumpy no flavor probably instant, toast don’t think was toasted, bacon not cooked completely, got one butter with 2 orders of uncooked cold toast. my sister n law ordered a biscuit & got a cold muffin. it was awful

just about everything!! I wish we had spent more time in the hotel to check out the restaurant and bar. For what it’s worth, the food smelled amazing! The room was cute and cozy.

The only thing I didn’t love was the bed. it was little two soft for our liking but otherwise everything was great!

We loved the convenience of the location. We were able to hop on the local shuttle and explore the downtown area without having to get in our car each time we went out. That was fantastic.

We just used the hotel as a base of operations to see some of downtown Chattanooga over the weekend. The property is very convenient to all that downtown has to offer. It was a short drive up the mountain to see Ruby Falls and Rock City. Bonus for the Chattanooga market being indoors at the convention center, which adjoins the hotel.

The Marriott at downtown Chattanooga was fantastic! When we checked in, they upgraded our room which was awesome! The room was clean and comfortable. The indoor pool was so fun. My toddler enjoyed it and we had it all to ourselves. The restaurant was delicious too and the server Sarah was so sweet and kind. She was playing hide and seek with my daughter. It’s the little things! We did a quick weekend trip to take my daughter to the aquarium and it was about 4 minutes away. We will definitely be back!

The only thing that I didn’t like was there was a limited breakfast option but it was expected since we are in a pandemic.

The staff were outstanding--friendly, courteous, informed, respectful!

I'm not crazy about young people calling me "sweetheart." It's condescending and patronizing when directed toward seniors. It happened only once, though, and he explained that "it's a southern thing." No it isn't. It happens a lot with young people, and it is quite annoying.

The property was very well-maintained and clean inside and out 

I liked everything about this property. It was excellent!  The only thing I would recommend is more selection on the room service menu. 

The bed was very comfortable, room was clean, bathroom had modern upgrades, WiFi was strong enough, window view was nice, staff was REALLY nice.

While the bathroom style was modern and cool looking, having a sliding barn door made of glass isn't that great in use, because if someone needs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light streams through to the rest of the bedroom.

The location is great, as it is just a short walk to various restaurants, pubs, microbreweries, and attractions. The hotel is clean, the room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Renovations were ongoing to the site, but that wasn't a problem. New safety features too.

We didn't eat breakfast here, as it is not complementary and $16 per person.
