Hampton Inn Northwood

I liked the buffet breakfast each morning. I like the rooms were clean and renovated. I like that all the staff were friendly. I loved that it was only a short drive to the beach:) Even though it was not oceanfront it was still a very nice stay.

I didn't know that the rest of the building was older. For example the roof needed some work and the elevator was pretty old. But they are doing renovations so hopefully they can upgrade everything.

We loved the breakfast buffet and the different selections each day! We liked that all the staff was friendly. We loved that the room was renovated and clean. The decorations were very modern.

The TV had to be fixed in our room, because it wasn't working properly but they replaced it. The outside of the property needed some work.

Everything was magnificent! Breakfast was hot with many choices for us and the kids. The pool and hot tub were awesome, the kids didn't want to get out and preferred it over the beach. The rooms were super clean, beds were extremely comfy, and the location was beautiful and very convenient for quick eats, shopping Needs. Will definitely be returning in the next couple months, you've gained a new returning customer!

The room was clean. All day access to pool was great. Indoor pool and hot tub. Beds comfortable and soft. The remote control protected in plastic was a plus. Friendly staff

The elevator was down temporarily. But not a big deal. One of the lobby staf stated room was not ready and to wait a few minutes. Had me sitting in the lobby for about 30 minutes and did not let me know the status. Once she doing something else. I then walked up to a lady that eas working beside her and asked what was the status of the room and which told me the room was ready smh. Thank goodness I did this who knows how long I would have been sitting in the lobby waiting.

Breakfast was good.

I did not have a beach view; the tv remote did function properly, the air/heating unit would not operate properly and I wanted a king size bed but had two queen beds, and Seeing there were no beach views I could not understand why we were on the 5th floor instead of ground level.

The breakfast was really good and the staff in the breakfast area were very helpful. I really enjoyed our stay the room was above my expectations good place to stay in Myrtle Beach will return.

I wish they had a outdoor pool as well.

We were welcomed when we walked in the door. The room was everything we expected. The breakfast the next morning had a good selection to choose from.

The only thing that we didn't like was not the hotel's fault. The people in the room next to us had a young child, and at 6 am was squealing and yelling. It was a connecting room, and the noise came through the door. It didn't stop until they left that morning.

I loved the daily breakfast for the guests, the pool and sauna were nice too. The beds in my room were very comfy too.

The elevators were the worst part of my stay. With only one working elevator, much time was spent waiting in the lobby for the elevator. PLEASE FIX AND REPAIR THE ELEVATORS ASAP!! HOTEL SUCKS with only one elevator for a building with 5 floors. Get bigger tv’s for your rooms.

The staff was very friendly and we arrived early and they did everything they could to help us get in our room early bc we were so tired

The pool area was very hot and the chlorine smell was strong

We have stayed here many times. Room is clean and comfortable.

I assume because of covid, no hot coffee available all day. ( If you have it in the morning, why not the rest of the day.). No newspaper. No real explanation during check in on the changes pertaining-to the room. Example, a list must be turned into the front desk for towels, waste paper bags, etc. I didn’t see the note in with my key until later on the second day.
