Beds were very noisy and uncomfortable

The breakfast was great! Different from the normal continental breakfast offers. We were well-pleased both mornings. The location was excellent. We were able to walk to the Soda City Market Saturday morning.

The air conditioner in our room was noisy. When it turned off, it was quiet... and hot! When it turned back on, it was cool but loud. The facility needs good maintenance. The elevator (1/2) broke while we were there. The bed wasn't as comfortable as expected.

The two young ladies in the reception area were the most helpful and accommodating that I've met in a very long time. They even kept the kitchen open to make sure that I had something to eat when all of the local restaurants had closed their kitchens for the night.

Their address may be on 'Gervais St.', but parking, entrance and reception desk are located in the next block on 'Lady St.' & the entrance to the (small) parking lot blends so well with the rest of the neighborhood that it's nearly invisible.

The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very nice and clean. Conveniently located close to restaurants that we could walk to. Parking was convenient. The pool was nice and the rooms were quiet. Complimentary breakfast was good with lots of different options and the breakfast staff were cheerful and friendly.

Outside staff could have been nicer. Lawn care workers were grumpy and not very friendly to guests.

Nick and the other staff at the front desk were responsive and helpful from tips on the area, parking assistance and even kid relief.

I would have liked to know that the place was under construction when booking but it wasn’t inconvenient. once the coffee bar was completely empty during breakfast hours. and the message I sent a week prior to arriving was never answered.

Half of the hotel was under construction so it was a little cluttered but obviously they have to do that to make improvements. It wasn’t much of a hindrance. The only truly negative thing I have to say is all of the common areas were unnecessarily hot.

The king size bed had to be one of the most comfortable beds from any hotel ever lol. Usually my back hurts when I wake up but I slept like a bear and no pain when I woke up. Hopefully I come back to Columbus and stay here again. Clean fresh room too. As soon as I opened the door it smelled like they had just cleaned it.

The parking was very convenient once I learned the location of the parking lot. I also liked the physical location of the hotel as it related to the places I wanted to sight see. I walked with my grandson to all my designated spots. Excellent restaurants are very close with a diversity of food cuisines.

One major issue is the fact that to enter the lobby to check in the hotel is from Lady Street and not Gervais Street. The address of the hotel is Gervais Street, but there is no parking on that street and there is no sign that is posted on the front door to actually drive around the block to the back and enter from Lady Street. I had to ask my teenaged grandson to walk around to find out where to go and park for check in while I remained in the car since I was in a no parking zone on Gervais Street in front of the hotel.

Customer service is awesome. Great location. Clean. Bed sleeps great!

We were 6th floor facing street(as per request) Rm 631. As we were watching tv(around 5) I thought I heard someone talking. I muted tv and clearly could hear someone's conversation. This was so strange to me because the room to the right of us was further down the hall. I heard it again before we left the next morning. I love this hotel and always stay here or Hampton when we visit Columbia. This has never happened before and was weird to me. Other than that all was good.

The room was a great size with plenty of space. The couch was large even if the bathroom was pretty standard. The staff was friendly

I hate playing for parking. I missed a big comforter to snuggle up with. The thin comforter and the spare sheet just wasn't the same as a good cozy, puffy comforter. I missed pancakes or waffles at the breakfast but otherwise the breakfast was delicious, especially the Canadian bacon
