Baymont by Wyndham Bartonsville Poconos

Breakfast was great! It was nice to have a variety of items available.. The pool area and the pool might have been a little dated, at times pool was a bit cloudy.. staff was very helpful, professional and polite.. great place for kids, they enjoyed the games in the lounge area and corn hole and fire pits outside! Our room was absolutely perfect for our needs!

The first night we were there, 3 or 4 very young children were literally climbing on the fire pits, throwing items into them, running through the lounge and outside area, screaming and yelling, for quite a long time. I felt management should have addressed this as other customers were making comments as well. Other than that- no negative issues at all..

mostly it was a great stay. except that i forgot some things in the safe when we left :( we called as soon as we realized. they retrieved my things, and i sent them a fed ex label and had my things back within two days. i was so relieved! the staff were excellent and friendly. Everything turned out great. the room was clean and everything else about our stay was great. it is pretty close (within 15 miles or so) of Pocono race track and close to all restaurants including long horn and pocono bar and grill so it was definitely a convenient location. it is also a pet friendly hotel, but never heard any barking dogs or anything.

it seems they were completely on top of any issues i saw, so there is really nothing to say here that is negative.

We had a rough travel day with a few flight delays causing us to get to our hotel at 4am. it was a long and exhausting day. The gentleman at the front desk was so kind asking me how my day was and then offering me a late checkout for free. He was a real bright spot in an otherwise exhausting day. Then the next morning, I noticed again as the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I was so impressed with the customer service that I decided I needed to write a review. The bed was also very comfortable as an added bonus. Thank you Baymont!

The shower/bathtub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. We also got placed in the handicapped accessible room. It had a door that slid open but was so difficult to open and close which was hard for a family of 5. We just had to tell everyone to stay over by the beds and out of view whenever anyone needed to use that bathroom or shower.

Room was comfortable and clean

Bathroom could use some updates. It was clean but obviously old. The continental breakfast set up was unusual and would prefer to serve myself the food. Signs guiding the guests to where and how to get food would have been very helpful. Gentleman in the food area guided us but in a very stern and rude manner and made us feel "stupid" when we didn't understand the set up of the food and that we were unable to serve ourselves.

We had an excellent stay, everyone was so so polite and very helpful. We plan on staying there next year. Nascar weekend. So much to do at Wyndham, food, facilities there is no reason to go anywhere else.

NOTHING IT IS EXCELLENT AND WOULD RECCOMEND IT TO ANYONE GOING THAT WAY, VERY HOME LIKE ATMOSPHERE. NO BAD REVIEWS FROM US.

This facility was very clean and all of the people at the front desk were extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good you had a choice of scrambled eggs English muffins bagels muffins cereal Sausage potatoes biscuits with gravy and waffles. I used the hot tub every day of my stay. I did call the hotel to make sure that The hot tub would be open they did state that the Jets weren’t working but I will tell you that was the best part of my whole stay was to sit in the hot tub. The pool was also very well heated. There is also a workout room with a 4 to 5 machines a game room a playground and also air hockey and a large connect four. We had a very nice stayand I will highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area there are a lot of places to visit very close. I will definitely be booking this hotel again

The only recommendation that I could make is the couch in the room was very uncomfortable. But besides the couch I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel.

the restaurant FOOD IS AMAZING. I was so shocked with the Quality and taste

nothing to do with The facility itself. however there is a strip club down the street. it of course did not mess with our stay whatsoever just wanted to give you a heads up if it’s a family vacation. there was literally only one car in the parking lot as well.

clean, well maintained & excellent location. The breakfast included with our stay was very good, and they’re very pet friendly! I was happy there was no carpeting in the room since the hotel is pet friendly!

the pillows were much too hard and the bar/restaurant is supposed to close at 10pm but they closed early so we missed dinner

The beds were very comfortable and they were being updated while we were there. Breakfast was good, but we thought it could have been changed a bit daily. We stayed 3 nights and got the same thing each morning. It was good, but we just thought there might be a change.

The owner of the place reprimands his staff in front of guests and that is not professional at all. It does not look good and could be handled in a much different way. I own a business and have found other ways to correct my staff if it needs to be taken care of immediately otherwise it could be handled later and in private.

We had a bathroom door get lock and staff came right up and got it open for us. Also our grandson, got sick and we needed new sheets and again staff came right and gave them to us .They took the dirty sheets away , and when we notice that our grandson clothes were in the sheets they went and got them for us.Staff was very friend and heplful. I would tell friends and family to stay at this hotel.

The pool needed to be warmer.
