Hilton Garden Inn Durham Southpoint

Very updated rooms and facilities. Everything was clean and well maintained. Quick response from housekeeping when we needed extra towels, etc. Fantastic location with lots to do nearby, good restaurant options, etc.

Pool was very small, even compared to other Hilton Garden Inns, Hampton Inns, etc. My seven-year-old found it lacking (and his favorite part of any trip is usually the hotel pool). Some noise from college sports teams staying at the hotel, but they were quiet after 10 pm.

my first stay the coffee pot did not work, this time I brought one, my 2nd stay the tv remote needed battery's which Maintenace cheerfully replaced. The food is very high priced so we ate out and had carry out. The location is great and the rooms are nice and clean. The business center was weak with no printer or fax machine, just a walk-in closet with a chair.

The pool was so cloudy that we couldn't see a black sock that my kids were using as a football. That is extremely dangerous. My kids eyes burnt so bad after using the pool and so did their skin. The black sock we used, turned brown. Your chemicals are obviously extremely off and dangerous!

Breakfast was delicious and nice and hot. Your staff was friendly and available to help. I came here to study and found your business center available for printing out a page I needed, so that was very convenient.

It was a tiny bit cold in the breakfast room, probably because of the snow storm.

Location was good, no breakfast provided, lobby and other areas overall clean. Doors sealed after cleaning, which was nice to know, halls vacuumed, Room appeared cleaned and disinfected.

Checked in on a Wednesday- went to get ice and pink sticky spillage on the floor. Informed night clerk and was finally cleaned when we left on Sunday. No specific directions on what to do with dirty towels and needing more, again called the night clerk and she stated bring them down to lobby for new ones. We did the next morning and were told from then on to leave them outside of our door- need postings on what to do with needing more towels and full trash cans. Coffee maker worked only one time and not worth the effort to ask for another one. We were on the third floor- not sure what was wrong with the toilet, but took forever for the tank to fill after flushing. Just a few things like these will make us rethink if we want to stay there again

The overall facility was was above expectations . The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful . The gym facilities were clean and nice .

Received a charge for "Great American Grill" in the amount of $23.35 . This is a incorrect charge . We did not make a purchase from the Grill . We did have breakfast in the Grill cost of which was included in the Room charge .

The breakfast was good and its cost should have been included in the room cost per your booking . Not so at this location for two visits .

When I booked room told breakfast was included. Started to eat and waitress said it would cost 15 ea. we left because we did not see anything worth 30 dollars!!

Breakfast made to order was quite a surprise.

No exhaust fan in the bathroom. The key/lock on our first room’s door was broken. Had to return to the main desk, but quickly resolved with a different room.

The location is close to where my family and I visited and it is clean and a beautiful hotel. Offers great amenities that pretty much cover anything you would need such as a bar, snack bar, gym, laundry room, pool, and business room. I also love how quiet the hotel is no matter how busy it is. We always stay here when we come to visit. My family and I love it here.
