My family and I absolutely LOVE this property. When we arrive, we are typically greeted by Sandra and she is extremely helpful and personable. This interaction with Sandra has what has my family from KC and SD choose to only reserve at the Tru when we come to Omaha which is almost 2 to 3 times a month. The facility is very inviting and provides space for family/gathering activities.

I did not like ANY interaction that we had with the night receptionist (did not catch her name). When she arrived our family as well as other patrons were in the family area. When I spoke to her she ignored/did not speak reciprocate the greeting. In the early morning we arrived from one of the local establishments and she was sitting at the desk, Once again we greeted her and she once again did not speak or acknowledge us. I chopped the 1st encounter up to being just getting onto her shift and trying to get her bearings but the 2nd encounter solidified that it was simply rudeness.

Absolutely loved the decor and vibe, very modern with bright colors. Despite COVID times, breakfast was pretty decent with oatmeal, waffles, hot sandwiches and omelettes individually packed. Everything was extremely clean. My husband and I had an incident with a guest who was experiencing a medical issue and they were prompt to assist the person in need. The next day, we went down and was told they had comped that night due to our unfortunate experience. In times like these, I was surprised by this generous offer. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay in this hotel again, next time I’m back home.

Great room, pretty good breakfast, nice little pool. The lounge area looked amazing shame we didn’t get to enjoy it maybe next time :)

My only complaint is I asked the front desk lady if she could send fresh towels to my room when we were making our way out and when we finally returned to our room no fresh towels :/ we just physically picked up towels at the front desk the next day. Like we didn’t want to bother asking for room service we just wanted towels. Super minor inconvenience but it was a little annoying

clean, modern, shower temperature was great, i like the shampoo-conditioner-body wash-lotion dispensers, no carpet in the room, great shades to keep the room dark, the bed was comfortable- maybe a little too soft but still comfortable, staff was friendly, lobby was really nice and though I didn’t use it- the work out room seemed to have a lot of options.

the room felt really small as did the shower, we didn’t use the pool but it seemed small as well and there is no hot tub, breakfast was ok- not great but enough to get by. (3 cereals, yogurt, looked like some microwaved breakfast bowls, a couple breakfast sandwich options- I had a couple bites but it was pretty hard- oatmeal, waffle station, bread, bagels) The hotel is also conjoined with the Home2Suites hotel which I thought was kind of odd. It’s close to the interstate and a busy road so it’s a little noisy but the hotel noise was very minimal and the view was terrible- they were building next door to a big muddy lot and construction

The soap/lotion/shampoo dispensers. They are a great idea—they probably save a lot of money and space in landfills. But we both have a little arthritis in our hands, and it was really hard for us to squeeze hard enough to get the contents out. Also we weren’t really fans of allowing people to bring their pets. The people across the hall must have left their dog alone for the evening, and it whined the whole time. Plus some people have allergies to pets.

The property was very clean and tidy. There was no allergen-bearing carpeting in the room—yay! It had just the right amount of amenities for our overnight stay. I appreciated the signage regarding “quiet hours.” Overall, our brief stay was very comfortable.

It’s hard to find something to complain about. I could have used another light weight blanket for warmth. My only other complaint was the juice machine at the breakfast bar. It was dispensing some watery liquid that didn’t resemble fruit juice at all. My partner said the oatmeal was also watery. If all of the food was in one eating area that would be more convenient, but that’s not the way it’s laid out.

The House keeper changed my bed sheets after hours right before their shift ended I was so happy with this service. Keep up the great work.

i absolutely love this place and so did the kids, it had a lobby, pool, 24hr fitness room, fire pit and free breakfast not to mention the stuff is so so friendly. the hotel is super clean on the tru side and the home 2 side I stayed on both sides and loved it. ooh I almost forget the have bar b q grills (4) and you can use them anytime you want….. I recommend this to anyone

nothing I loved everything and that the truth

A bright, modern hotel with good facilities all round. Our room was well laid out, the bed comfortable and the shower excellent. We were delighted to enjoy a swim in the pool and to be able to make use of the guest laundry. The very helpful receptionist sent us up the road to Spezia, an Italian restaurant, where we enjoyed a fine evening meal.

The breakfast was serviceable but not very inspiring.

Traveled with my kids and pet. Reception area was very friendly to my pet and gave him a few treats. Enjoyed the free water and snacks when checking in. Room was very nice and comfy. Loved the shower and in room soap/shampoo/conditioner. Breakfast was good too. Kids loved the donut holes. Great addition!!

Need bigger trash cans in the rooms. Pool was a little boring.
