The gal at the check-in was maybe the nicest and most-helpful hotel employee I've ever connected with! Not a lot around this hotel, had to drive 10-15 minutes to get to a CVS to grab some microwaveable dinner (everything in town closes by 10), but clean and comfy hotel! GREAT donut spot called Daylight Donuts!

It's a property that's been remodeled, we stayed there when it was another brand. It still looks a little tired. A guy who was obviously staying there long term carried a gas grill and propane tank OUT OF HIS ROOM and set it up just outside our window. Set up on the back of his pickup. Not exactly safe.

One of the people working in the breakfast room - lady's name was DJ - was very helpful and courteous. She treated us so nicely. If all people working in hospitality were as kind and caring as this lady, travel would be wonderful.
I booked two rooms through Booking.com. When arriving at the hotel there was only one room booked for us. The hotel was full, but the management did find a second room for us. Problem solved nicely. Don't know if the problem was the hotel or Booking.com, but we were taken care of. Rates were higher than original, but turned out OK.

the ice machine were all out of order except the one in the main lobby which was empty due to everyone using it. the TV in the room would have to load channels every time you turned it on this took about 10 minutes before you could watch TV

It was Ok, standard fare no better than most.
Due to COVID rules our bedding was not changed, floors not swept, waste baskets not emptied because we stayed two nights and they only acknowledge overnite quests needs as they would not enter the room. Either you are open door business or you're not. No more Best Western for us.
