Pear Tree Inn St. Louis Fenton

Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. While it was an older building, they kept it clean and tidy. Free parking. Rooms were clean with adequate towels and washcloths. Beds were comfortable.

Stood at the front window for check-in for about 5 minutes before the lady (who was in the back office area, but could be seen from where I was standing) came to help me. Sign at the window said "be back soon" so I didn't want to knock on the glass. :) Very limited breakfast items with no protein options. As someone with a gluten intolerance, my only choice for food was a banana and yogurt. Smelled a little dingy in the building, but I'm not sure if that could be fixed or not.

location was exactly what we needed. room on ground floor was also exactly what we needed. staff was professional & friendly.

the pool is awful! it has a horrible texture inside (all over) that literally scrapes your skin off! it’s dangerous. I accidentally touched the side with my shoulder while floating on my back & it scraped it! the bottom of the pool scraped my feet so bad I had to go get Neosporin to put on both areas! The “free” breakfast leaves so much to be desired. It only took 1 morning to understand why the breakfast area was so small for such a large hotel. Very few people bother to have such a basic breakfast!

The room was excellent, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Only problem with room was getting AC regulated. Seemed like the setting and actual temperature was off. Shower was great. The pool was open and not closed due to COVID as other hotels have used the excuse to keep closed. Breakfast looked good though I didn't have much time to eat much. Bananas looked a little over-ripe.

Little pricey but was worth it. There was a $50 fee which was refunded after checkout. I was told on weekends breakfast was from 7-10 am. I was gone by that time. On Sunday, I went down to get coffee at 6:30 am, and breakfast was available. Room temperature was hard to regulate.

Breakfast was just enough. Room was comfortable and clean. Good location to family for us!

Since it was so hot during our stay we were in the pool every day. Our only complaint was that the pull deck surface was extremely dirty! Our feet were black, literally, just walking from the chair to the pool!!!!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Patrick was over the top with his customer service checking in and Valerie with checking out. Very nice accommodations. Comfortable bed and very clean. Great BBQ restaurant next door too.

Wasn’t anything about this stay that we didn’t like. Will make sure to stay here again on a cross country trip.

We booked several rooms for a work group. The staff was exceptionally good coordinating late arrivals and calling when any question arose. VERY friendly and professional!

Minor complaint: the entrance road is slightly awkward requiring you to exit the highway and then take a small road to drive around a restaurant to arrive at the parking lot for the hotel.

The location is good for us. We have family close by. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and cozy. The staff is always very pleasant, the breakfast aren’t over the top, but are good and fresh.

I feel the outside area could use a little facelift. But that does not determine me from staying there. We have stayed and will stay there in the future!

The whole place was very clean and smelled good. I was surprised at how nice everything was. Layed out at the pool and dozed in the sun. Very relaxing. Lots of local restaurants, stores and churches. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close enough to St. Louis to still be convenient yet Lone Elk County Park just over the hill for a hike, fresh air and quiet.

Would have liked eggs and bacon/sausage included for the price but still very satisfied.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room was well-maintained and clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. Considering the rate of the hotel, the breakfast offered was satisfactory and met our expectations.

Regrettably, there is no fitness center available at the hotel.
