Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Saginaw, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was recently remodeled, very modern.Very comfortable, pleasant staff, good supply of breakfast items. The pool looked inviting, but I could not partake. The beds were very comfortable, the room and common areas were also very clean. Well taken care of hotel.

Being charged my debit card $250.00 for damage . I freaked out when I saw my banking account with a withdrawl for $704.18 for 2 nights. Called hotel they told me it was the 3rd party charge and it will be returned back to my checking account in 3-5 days. Why wasn't this on the booking page. What if I only had an extra $250.00 in my account? I'd have NO ACCESS TO MY MONEY FOR 5 DAYS ??? BAD BOOKING.COM

Very unhappy that bookings.com hadn’t pushed my reservation, made days earlier, through to the Holiday Inn!! The front desk had no record of my reservation. Luckily, they had one room available, or my daughter and I would have had nowhere to stay for our weekend!! Unfortunately, I’ve had this happen before, but thought it was a fluke miscommunication, but have learned this situation happens regularly with bookings.com. I will be leery from now on.

Very nice staff.

No bathtub in the room. When I called the front desk they had no rooms available with a bathtub. The only way I could get one is if I upgraded to a jacuzzi suite for another $100. Also in the morning the breakfast bar was out of scrambled eggs by 8:30 a.m. The breakfast bar was open until 10:00 a.m. A little bit disappointing. This is the second time I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and there were issues with the breakfast.

Breakfast was good except pancake machine kept failing for some reason but staff were trying to get it working. The rest was very good. Rooms were clean.

There were no washclothes or hand towels in our room. I had to go request them at front desk. There was also no blow dryer. Every hotel I've been to ALWAYS has a blow dryer so I was quite shocked when there wasn't one there and I didn't bring mine. I'm not sure why one isn't provided but that would be a negative if not provided.

Breakfast was good, could serve it a little longer.

The ceiling not very sound proof. We were woken up every morning by the sound of heavy foot traffic and the floor creaked with every step.

The hotel was very friendly and clean. The room was modern, had a fridge, microwave, and TV (lots of channel options), and the AC worked wonderfully. (Ladies) The shower water pressure was AMAZING and it didn't take me forever to get all the shampoo out of my hair. The breakfast bar was well stocked and the staff kept it stocked.

The room was big enough for 3 people and the bathroom was clean with wonderful hot water!

The location was not clearly marked from the main street. I missed my turn and had to go all around and enter the back.

everything the staff were amazing the room was clean and amazing the location was amazing. Everything was in one place.

honestly, the eggs could be a little bit less rubbery and the oatmeal could be a little bit thicker. They could have more options of tea and stronger coffee.

Very, very convenient to shopping and eateries; also emergency facilities.

They were doing a few upgrades like painting and remodeling during the day. It wasn’t all bad; but having a toddler in and out with you can be a little dangerous around the tools and paints.

The beds were soft. The sheets soft. Hello mama did i have some fun .

We arrived atound 5p 3/19. The front desk clerk was rude.. I could tell she wasn't having a good day.. but to take it out on my kids and myself... i thought that was uncalled for. I was also looking forward to a better Breakfast.
