The staff was fantastic and very helpful. Our rooms were really nice and the beds were super comfortable. I really liked the sliding glass doors with the screen to the courtyard and your hotel is pet friendly.
This hotel needs some serious attention and updates. Need signs and floor plans put up to help customers find their way around the hotel and get to your pool, front desk, ect from their rooms. The courtyard was an absolute mess with very high weeds & a tree that looked like it had been cut down a while ago and was never removed. When in the courtyard looking into several windows or rooms, all you seen was stacked boxes, furniture, and messy rooms. Didn't care for the foam boards on the inside and outside windows of the hotel. The parking lot had crater sized potholes.

A little sketchy in the back parking lot, a lot of people hanging out in cars and doing drugs. The ice machines were broke down had to go to the front desk to get ice. Fitness room did not open until 8:00 am - suggestion make a separate door to the fitness room that does not attach to the pool.

The AC in the room did not work very well. It never got very cool in the room even though we had the setting as high as the unit would go. We did not bring this to the front desk’s attention so that’s on us.

Property was clean and comfy
The security guy came to us about not wearing a wrist band when all day nobody was wearing them But he picked us out of everyone and came to us saying I went ahead and let you swim but you should have a wrist band. I told him not one person all day wore one but I know a lady and her son came in wearing one and went right to him complaining we didn’t wear one so if your going to say something to us then he should be consistent and not just say something to us. Rediculous you have to have a room card to enter that should be good enough actually it was good enough for everyone but is so that was not ok.

The USB ports in our room didn't work for plugging in chargers. HOWEVER when we mentioned it at the front desk they gave us what appeared to be their personal charging block! Fantastic customer service. The room was very clean except for under the beds.

We were in rooms for pets. The sliding glass door to go outside has a steep drop to ground .would have been nice for stone paver. Parking lot a bit rough

The staff was really nice and welcoming, especially the lady in the breakfast room. The room we got was really spacious and the beds were comfortable. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but it has a nice flair to it. We enjoyed our stay there.

Only a couple miles away and staying the night with you still allowed for my daughter and I to feel like we got a full weekend trip away, even in just one night. It has been a long virtual learning at home year for both my daughter and I. With Covid effecting every aspect of life, transferring schools during a pandemic, social distancing and a 22 weeks of difficult virtual at home learning coach (Dad), we needed a reward and a break. Meeting every assignment head on this year, she earned an instant staycation was happening then it wasn't going to happen without your luxury accommodations. Horrocks sushi, clean warm pool (3 x's) and smiles by both us and staff. No pandemic or school night would stand in our way of her well deserved virtual learning reward. She even took on the bragging rights the next morning to her 4th grade class on Zoom 1/2 of the day before check out. West Lansing needed something new and trendy. Can't wait for everything to open up safely to take advantage of the Lounge next time!
My daughter wishes she had donuts instead of hardboiled eggs for breakfast...LOL! Darn pandemic ;)
