I had a wonderful stay at Warrior hotel, nice room, very good food, very nice and professional staff. The members of the staff (except this Sammy, I was talking about in the negative aspects) are extremely nice and professional; I can't remember all the names, but all (except Sammy) were so nice. I only remember the name of a super super nice lady at the reception, that I want to mention, because she's really special: Jenni!!!! Thank you Jenny, thank you all (except Sammy, of course) for making my stay in Sioux City very special!!
The only negative aspect of my stay was the receptionist (Sammy) who was on charge at the reception the night of my arrival, March 7th 2023, around 11.30 p. m.. She was extremely unprofessional and unpolite, even giving me false informations about the hotel (for example, she told me that guests can't use the stairs, because they're blocked and only the elevator allows to go up and down).

The Warrior is conveniently located in downtown Sioux City near the apartment building where a family member lives. It is a lovely well renovated gorgeous building that is a pleasure to be in. Our spacious well appointed room was quiet, pleasant, airy, and had two chairs--a very comfortable desk chair and easy chair--as well as a bench to sit on. We were pleasantly surprised to find a Toto toilet/bidet and a lovely shower/soaking tub combination in the bathroom. On days that are not as popular, the price point is quite appealing and makes a stay there much more affordable.
Four items surprised us. While the room and bathroom were lovely, it was actually difficult to get cold tap water from the bathroom sink or cool water in the shower. The bed mattress was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the pillows were very thick and firm. It would be nice to have pillows of different firmness for the folks who prefer a softer, not so thick pillow. The lovely robe that was in the closet was wonderfully comfortable. We found it odd, however, that a room with two guests only had one robe. Finally, the lack of a secure WiFi network.

it was extremely nice with a lot of different things for the visitors to do. my last night some guy visited me he was like room service but that wasn’t his title but he made my whole visit with his pleasantness and you could tell he loved his job.
they don’t have valet, the parking they do offer is extremely small and was hard finding parking, i though it was weird they offered you a fridge but no microwave also it really annoyed me that i had to call the front desk multiple times to get someone to even answer.

The room was very clean. The heated toilet seat was a favorite for all of us. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was so friendly. Other than the breakfast buffer and bowling ally disappointments The Warrior is a top notch hotel to stay in.
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but the rest of the family didn't eat much. It was not a traditional buffet of eggs, toast, waffles... The waffles were banana nut, the eggs were more of a tart (light pastry crust around it), no toast. So for the cost of $11 my daughters each ate a travel sized bowl of cereal. The bowling ally doesn't open until 3 pm, but all the lanes were rented for the whole night for a private party, so we couldn't do any bowling.

LOVED THE BOWLING ALLEY, LOVED THE ROOF TOP BAR, WITH A GREAT VIEW OF THE CITY!!! THE RESTROOMS WERE CLEAN, THE STAFF WERE ALL AWESOME!! JUST HUNG OUT AT THE HOTEL ALL NIGHT, VERY NICE.
The door has an issue, it drug on the floor, making a horrible scraping noise and was hard to make sure it was actually closed and locked. This room is in a newly remodeled portion of the hotel, so I am sure it is a work in progress. The parking kinda sucks when there is an event at the hotel.

The building is absolutely beautiful- they’ve done it wonderful job restoring and decorating it. The suites are spacious and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out.
Given the rates and the caliber the hotel is trying to be, the staff really need to be friendlier and more helpful. Also I had to leave the hotel to get coffee! A morning coffee service is essential at $200+ per night.

They shared no expense were there from exceptional quality updating of the rooms.
I think they need more signs in the Hotel in terms of directions from one building to the other. However once you’ve oriented yourself there’s no problem.

Breakfast was busy and only 1 waiter for the restaurant while 3 stood around at the front desk.
