Very nice, clean and cozy. Close to everything
That the hottub was out of order. I met up with my friend who's mom was in the hospital, hoping to relax and sit in the hottub to get her mind off of everything. One of the reasons I chose this hotel. Overall the hotel was very nice and cozy and I would stay again. However if I would have known ahead of time that the hottub was closed due to covid I would have chosen another hotel. I've been to other hotels since and their hottubs are opened.

The breakfast was great and fillled with everything you’d need nothing was messy or out of product and they didn’t hover over you and let others finish up even though it was time to close down the breakfast area so no one felt rushed along
The crowded pool area and kids that were aloud in there seemed kinda late. We went down to relax in spa and there were kids all the way up to closing and it was very loud

Very clean room, generally very quiet setting. I didn't eat breakfast there, nor did I interact with the staff after check-in. This motel has a high, well-deserved reputation.
There was a lot of noise in the halls both evenings I was there. I know there were quite a few kids staying over the weekend, and kids will be kids. It just went on a lot longer into the evening than I expected. Also, the toilet seemed a bit loose, as if the mounting bolts weren't totally secure. Lastly, I paid a bit more than I was expecting to, but that isn't a huge concern to me.

Our room was close to everything
Need bigger pillows for the bed, 4 little one's don't cut it!! Could not use the Hot Tub it was closed.... that's what we were looking forward to doing, so we could relax in it..... Hot Breakfast was just ok, I was looking forward to Eggs, potatoes, Bacon or sausage.....all was there was cereal, yogurt, fruit bars, hard boiled eggs, muffins and waffle, I tried one and it was not done.....😕

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful given the pandemic crisis. The bed was VERY comfortable!!
No hangars in room. I was given 4 after asking for them. No alarm clock in room. The staff told me these things were not considered “essential “. No coffee pot in room as promised via phone call the previous day. The ice machine was not available to any guests. We needed some for our cooler. The wipes were out in the exercise room so we couldn’t wipe the equipment down after our use. We would have liked a hot breakfast as is normally provided, but given the pandemic, the sack breakfast worked fine. Having said all of that..... we empathize with the hotel during this crazy COVID time...

Everything was great. I was not here long as I checked in late evening and was then out early morning. I had planned on having breakfast but did not have time.
The only thing that I noticed was the door to my room would not latch. I had to mess with it quite a bit before it would latch when leaving my room.

It was clean place with friendly staff. Mason city does not have many things to do, but if you are doing road trip, it is a good stopping town with some lodging choices. People in IA are just so nice! This property is across from Walmart and you can buy whatever you need for your road trip. I liked this property and I rebooked for a week later when I had to go back to Mason City.

The front desk staff, especially Cassie, were especially helpful. I loved that there was coffee and water available at all times.

Passing through on our way back home. Location was busy/full ans was given a free room upgrade at no charge. Front desk was awesome as we rolled in late too. Good breakfast. Very clean. Nice place to stay!
