Imogene Hotel

Great location and view. Room was well appointed and very clean. Loved being able to open the windows. We stayed in the Elizabeth. Also enjoyed the rooftop bar. Would 100% stay there again.

For the price it would be nice if there was a water bottle filler in the lobby or water bottle in room on arrival. They had an in room Keurig but no water to make coffee.

Love the historical atmosphere. We’re on 2nd floor Deluxe King. It has Mountain View and all amenities. Service is great, pristine clean. Nice veranda too.

The Durango to Silverton train is right outside the hotel. Very convenient back in the day. Not so much for guests who want a quick afternoon nap. Lol

Beautiful room, the bed was SO comfortable. Great location with easy street parking nearby. Ruthie was very helpful and friendly. The rooftop bar was great with a beautiful view. I would definitely stay here again!

Shower (pressure) was not great, but not a huge deal.

The bathroom was super cute and unique. It’s got a modern yet elevated antique vibe. They truly paid homage to historic nature of the building. Super clean and felt new.

I didn’t realize it was only stairs. I tore my acl a while ago, so carrying my luggage up the snowy stairs was a bit anxiety provoking. The owner did offer to carry it all up... I didn’t really need it all though- I just would have organized my bag differently so I wasn’t digging around in the car. However, that won’t deter me from staying here in the future. I’ll just organize a small bag and leave all heavy snow// ski gear in the car.

Came here for our annaverssary weekend. The access to the room was great and the room was very nice and updated. We really enjoyed the coffee maker and the easy access to all the shops and restaurants nearby.

There was a bit of noise transfer from the nearby businesses and the road but it wasn't to bad. No other complaints!

I loved the new remodel! It's modern, fresh, and up to date. It's a great mix of modern and historic design. As a wedding photographer, I travel for events. It was great to be centralized and able to walk to many restaurants and bars! The Whiskey Bar is a huge bonus! Super cool that you can text with Rich, the manager. He's great and will bring you anything you need.

My room was right behind the bar, which I knew upon booking. At first, I thought it was cool, but after getting settled in, I could hear people talking in the bar. I turned up the TV to mask the noise.

The location was great. The view from the room was also nice. We really loved the sauna in the back of the hotel. It was really great to have that after ice climbing. Seriously we LOVED it.

The bathroom smelled a bit like the sewer. It was pretty cold in there since the heater didnt seem to circulate the air there and it would be nice to have doors on the shower since it was pretty cold in there and having either glass doors or something would keep the steam in the shower and warmer. The WIFI was also pretty slow- the movie we tried to watch froze on us multiple times and then would restart.

Nicely situated in downtown Ouray, within close proximity to gear rental, restaurants, and shopping. Great view from each window and everything has been renovated beautifully. Comfortable, warm bedding and a gorgeous bathroom. Just fyi: we brought our own shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer and, while there may be some available upon request, we didn't notice any of those in the room (we didn't ask, just worth being aware). Rich, the manager, was very accommodating and friendly--made it super easy to check in and out. Be sure to ask about the sauna!

It's true that the Wi-Fi could use an upgrade, but we didn't use it often and cell service was great.

The views from and around the room were stunning, and the rooms felt new and modern. The hotel is located within walking distance of all of the restaurants, grocer and local hardware store, in case you need anything.

The room could have used an extra storage area, table, sitting area type set up. Not really sure where it would go, but at least a side table would be helpful. The WiFi was also slow and spotty at time, but that is almost expected for the area. The pillows were very soft too, which was not a good thing in this instance.

I cannot find the words to explain the great hospitality we received from the day of arrival till departure. Rich was amazing. Our rooms were gorgeous, very updated with an antique feel. The rooftop was so beautiful, beautiful views. If you come to Ouray you gotta stay here!!! You will not regret it. This has been our best family vacation thus far. There's nothing like this place especially if you rent all 4 rooms on the 2nd floor to yourselves 😍 😁
