The staff is outstanding! Room size is very comfortable, and the rooms were clean. We had a king-size bed along with a sofa bed (which worked great because our son joined us for a night in the room). Breakfasts are very complete—better than the usual hotel breakfasts. The location worked well for us, as it’s right by the freeway, so it was easy for us to get to CSULB for graduation and to other locales like Laguna Beach for hiking.

Our room looked out over the freeway—it was not a problem for us at all. The room was relatively quiet. But other folks might have a problem with it. I believe our room was labeled as a “city view”. It worked just fine for us, though.

Breakfast was very good and beds were comfortable. Room was very quite considering it was right next to the 405 freeway in Seal Beach.

There was no restaurant or bar. Very disappointing as I had a long day and looked forward to not having to go out for dinner or a glass of wine. Also, the television system is terrible. It took me quite a long time to figure out the remote. In the morning, I planned to leave the hotel about 10 and wanted to watch some television. Again, it took me about a half hour to get the station on that I wanted to watch. I have Spectrum at home and my remote is infinitely easier to use. I will not stay at this hotel again.

the property itself was great! Very pretty inside the lobby. The rooms were great. Beds were comfortable. The showers were clean. The location was great.

The only downfall from our stay we’re the employees. VERY rude!!! some of them didn’t even acknowledge we were standing there just waiting to be helped. Once we did get help it was with attitude, just seemed like every employee couldn’t wait to clock out. When we asked if there was a back door closer to the parking lot we got a guy who pointed his pen in the direction of the doors!!! no words!!! SMH bad customer service from all of them.

The attendant Cassie was amazing and very professional. The hotel is spectacular. Love everything about it. Rooms nice, very clean and beautiful decor, good breakfast too. Easy parking and was nice they have a security guard at night. Great area, but can never too safe anywhere. The hotel's general manager should be selected to facilitate Master Classes to other hotel managers across the country; s/he runs an outstanding operation.

Whoever was above me in 307 were load stumping and up late.

The staff was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. The property is a bit older, but beautifully maintained. Although right by the freeway it was very quiet. The breakfast was also a big plus. Lots of choices as well as freshly cooked eggs, potatoes & French toast. We would definitely recommend to friends and stay again if in the area.

The elevator was a little slow, and the light in the bathroom was a little dim. But, for all the pros this site offers it was hardly a problem.

Everything was exceptional, except I made a reservation on line for $169, had a reservation number but the rate charged was $179. Not a big deal but when I questioned it, the desk clerk indicated they could not give me that rate. The manager was standing right next to the clerk but he pointedly ignored me, and the situation, which i thought was very rude.

I was charged $100.00 additionally, and I was told it would be refunded on check out. It was not and to date has not been refunded. It was immediately deducted and taking 2-3 weeks to be refunded is absurd. This has happened several times in my extensive travels and I am beginning to think it is a hotel scam and the fees are never returned until the guest questions it.

Daniel at the front desk provided top-notch customer service. The size of the room was great. The cooks in the kitchen were happy, especially Carolyn, the chef. You can take your breakfast to the room if needed. Breakfast is included, and it is a freshly made breakfast. Nothing fake about it. A great selection of breakfast foods, especially for me, I am a selective eater. I felt safe with security walking the halls in the evening/night. The lighting in the bathroom vanity was great for makeup application. This hotel is in a good neighborhood. I love that they have 24/7 Keurig coffee in the lobby. We have recommended this hotel to our family and friends.

The restrooms need an air vent. Quiet hours need to be posted, some guests were loud in the hallways.

The room was fine and it was very quiet considering it next to the 405 and Seal Beach Boulevard.

The breakfast was terrible! Worst eggs I've every had and the meats had a weird taste. I think they were on the verge of spoiling. If they could do a better job with breakfast, they would have a better rating. How hard is it to make decent tasting scrambled eggs? They were in a puddle of water. We all hated the breakfasts!

Great breakfast, convenient location, lots of attention to detail. Nice beds, plenty of room.

Daily text messages asking if we are happy. This is usually called "spam". The breakfast cereal bowls are tiny, so cereal spills when trying to dispense the cereal. Very busy at breakfast. Eating outside is an option but you need a room key to get back inside again. Bathroom water flow is slow.

Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable although my bed was a bit soft for me. My husband didn’t mind it. Our room was surprisingly quiet, given the location of the hotel, but my sister said her room on the freeway side was noisier. The amenities were useful- refrigerator and microwave and coffee in room, hot tub and outside sitting area were very nice.

Bed was soft, but that’s just me.
