The Hotel itself was nice. Very Clean and Comfortable. Great Breakfast!
The area its in is a little sketch. I felt safe inside the hotel itself but I was not comfortable driving even out of the parking lot in this area at night.

such a great find pretty near airport. modern, clean, amazing hot breakfast, bed was extremely comfortable with great linens, staff was fabulous. Security around near parking and Libby so felt very safe. Was very impressed- didn’t expect this level of service, chi cness or fabulous bed and breakfast at holiday express. Great efficient yet comfortable facility! Thank you!
the location isn’t upscale but once u pull into driveway, you’re at home and pleasantly welcomed!

This hotel is about 10 min from Universal. It is within walking distance to a few restaurants and short drive from many others. The breakfast was plentiful. And the rooms were very spacious. The staff was nice and helpful when I had car troubles. The area is not fancy, nada it's LA so you will see some homeless tents near the hotel. But there's plenty of folks outside at night grabbing food and i never felt unsafe as a woman with 2 kids.
As always the lighting in Holiday Inn hotels sucks. You have to turn in every single bulb in the room to make it bright enough. And don't get me started about how to put on makeup with that lightning. I would have also preferred connecting rooms as i had to make a choice to leave my 2 teenager kids (both minors) sleep in a room alone. But they were very accommodating in getting us rooms right across from each other.

The staff was courteous and professional. I appreciated the call to check on me after arriving to my room to make sure I was happy with everything. The breakfast was very good. I loved the coffee in my room, my favorite! The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. I also appreciated that parking was available for a minimal fee. The towels was soft and the bed was extremely comfortable!
Honestly, the price was a bit steep. I realize it's all about the location, but the taxes in CA are ridiculous and adds to the cost of the room. Bathroom was neat and clean, but could use a new shower head.

The staff were very friendly and responsive. If we had a problem, they resolved it quickly and graciously. The room was larger than I expected and very clean. I had a desk to work. Breakfast was tasty, and I loved the bright breakfast area. Close the metro station for those who do not have a car.

Very clean and comfortable. Position was perfect for Universal Studios (about $10 in an Uber) Breakfast was included with a basic but good selection. Laundry is a great convenience for families.
Hotel was really just a place to sleep near attractions, I wouldn't choose this area otherwise

Love the location and AM breakfast. So convenient and a great start!
The only things: I could see them benefitting from providing a daily shuttle to Universal Studios and the hotel room needs more trash bins. Only 1 in bathroom is not enough.

We drove from east bay to attend a 1 year old birthday party at 12:00 noon. We arrived 2 - 3 hours prior to check-in. We were going to use the hotel restroom to get ready but was told that we could check-in :-) there was a room available. Really pleased !!
