The Stanford Park Hotel

The room was roomy, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, with a fabulous bed and a very nice shower & bathroom. The common areas were lovely and fairly quiet, and the courtyard has lots of "nooks" in which to spend time with a little privacy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The pool was heated, and the hot tub very nice to hang out in.

I personally don't mind trains overmuch, but if there during the day & evening, be ready for fairly frequent train noise from the Caltrain corridor that runs directly behind one of the buildings.

We have stayed at the Stanford Park Hotel several times. It is a comfortable hotel in a great location, on the border between Palo Alto and Menlo Park and close to Stanford and the Stanford Shopping Center. Its rooms are large and well-furnished. The beds are comfortable and pillow options are available. The hotel facilities are of high quality and well-maintained.

No functioning restaurant. Take-out coffee and muffins or fruit was the only available breakfast option. A bit over-priced for the amenities it offers.

The breakfast at Stanford Park is outstanding. Ana was an amazing host. Service was outstanding and food was amazing! First time to the Bay Area and our experience was amazing in PALO ALTO.

We loved every moment and can’t wait to come back. The Stanford hotel and its location and amenities made our first trip to the Bay Area the best visit possible.

This is our go-to hotel every time we travel for our business, visit our children at Stanford, our own Stanford reunions. We always feel welcomed and treated so graciously. I was a little surprised at the removal of the morning complementary coffee. When I asked the manager behind the breakfast bar, he seemed offended and didn't explain the policy change. This was unusual for how friendly the remainder of all the staff! Love the cookies, love the hospitality. Unsurpassed location. We'll be back.

This was during Covid so the restaurant was closed but coffee and individual wrapped treats were available at breakfast and bedtime. Wine was served in the early evening. Everyone was very pleasant. Value was great due to Covid. At any other time it would be way beyond what we could afford. My grandchildren live within walking distance.

The pool could have been kept cleaner. For some reason they missed a day cleaning my room. We were there 8 nights.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Minimal noise even though it is adjacent to a busy street. Sufficient parking which also appeared to be safe.

Restaurant didn’t open for breakfast until 7:00 am. Would have preferred 6:00 am.

room faced the Main Street (El Camino Real) and was noisy. We turn off the internal heat/cooling system as it is noisy and opened the sliding glass door for fresh air.

the staff were so friendly. they upgraded us for our early Valentine’s celebration and our belated 10 year wedding anniversary. love the complimentary muffins and cookies.

Did not have turn down service. Unclear if we had to request it or if due to COVID this is no longer offered. But otherwise it is the best.

The complimentary muffins and coffee were a great start to the day. Delicious! We were happy that we didn’t have to go out to enjoy breakfast. Everything about the hotel was great.

Everything was wonderful— we can’t think of one thing we would improve. The accommodations, the bed, the bedding, the complimentary goody bag when we arrived, the bathroom, and especially the friendly efficient staff!

The location was fantastic. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were nice, good size and very comfortable. The pool area was great. We had dinner and drinks at the restaurant on the property. The food and drinks were excellent.

The hotel is not serving breakfast at this time. However, we were able to get coffee and muffins near the front desk.
