The hotel is nice and the location is great. Breakfast was very good too.

The AC in our room was funky and it either had to be on with cold air strongly blowing on my bed, or off completely to avoid the fan. But even then it kept coming on during the night even though the room felt muggy or a bit humid. The lighting in the bathroom is low and cannot be turned on or off from inside the bathroom, just outside the door. The bathroom also needs a fan!

The property sits right on the American River bikeway and next to old Folsom where you can find plenty of activities and food of all types. It was nice not to have to drive anywhere to have a great time! The room and property itself were great. The room had some very good soundproofing as we barely heard anything at night and slept very well. The overall hotel was clean with only one slight issue (see below in dislikes) and the staff was very cordial, always acknowledging the patrons.

The only issue, though very slight, was the decor showing some wear and dated, though everything was topnotch clean.

we had issues with cleaning crew being loud, yelling to each other as though no one was around as we were enjoying peace and quiet time during the day.. we understand they have a job to do and do it well but perhaps they could walk to the co worker they’d like to talk to instead of yelling down the hall..

Loved the little bar & restaurant in the lobby! Great service, good food and drink, friendly staff. It's a small property, homey and quaint. Yet it has an outdoor pool and hot tub, a small but adequate exercise room, a game room. I loved its location walking distance to historic Folsom and scenic walks, and short drive to the Lake Natoma recreational area.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Happy hour specials are good; bartender Justin is a great source of information. Quiet, comfortable, and well-located property. My request for an end room on the top floor was satisfied.

The "gym" is outdated; could use an upgrade. In fairness, most properties don't put a lot of $$$ in their fitness centers. It's rare when a guest can truly get excited about a morning workout.

Great Location to American River Trails, Sutter Street with many restaurants and shops, It is a great location!

The electrical circuits in my room were not operable so lighting was a real issue. Only 1 lamp worked and I had to keep moving it around to find sockets that worked. This is a fire hazard so should be addressed.

It was a nice hotel in a great area of Folsom near Lake Natoma. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. It has a nice jacuzzi and gym.

I didn't like that the pool was cold. It would have been nice if it was heated in the winter since it is a shallow pool. Also, wish it had a free breakfast option instead of the pricey option that was available.

The front desk (Ashley) was without a doubt the nicest, most helpful check in clerk I have ever had. I had left my wallet 3 hours away and she helped me get into my room early, figure out how to pay for the room without the typical check in materials at hand, and she was thoughtful and knowledgeable. Can’t say enough ! The room was good, the facilities nicely maintained.

Wish motels wouldn’t use single plastic bottles for shampoo and waste water with a shower head that can’t be controlled for flow.

It's a great spot with a lovely riverside trail to hike from the from door.

No Ev charging points on the property. They do other eco things, like organic toiletries in fixed containers--not disposable plastic, and water saving laundry suggestions, so EV charging points wo0hld complete the picture a bit more.

Since our son and daughter-in-law are in separate locations, we chose a location somewhat close to both. It was also near Sutter Street where we were to meet for a meal one evening. Sutter is the tourist downtown for lots of good restaurants and shopping. As for the room, it really needed more light in the bathroom. While there were 3 lights above the mirror, they were only suitable for nightlights. No light above or near the shower and hardly enough light for us gals to "try" to put on make up. Also, very hard to lean across the bathroom counter to get close enough to the mirror to put on liner and mascara. I wound up at the desk with the lamp and set up a mirror I had with me. This is, unfortunately, a problem in many hotels! One of the first items for which I will give a hotel points is lots of light in the bathroom. Except for sleeping, most of your time is spent in the bathroom cleaning up after a day out or getting ready for a day out.

Booking.com said we had reached Genius Level 2. We had no idea about that, but it said we now could get complimentary breakfasts and a 15% discounts. While we did get the discount (thank you very much), we did not get the breakfast. I spoke to the hotel and they knew nothing about that. They brought it up to their manager who sent a reply which said breakfast was definitely not included. We have used Booking.com many times now and have been very satisfied with it. It is usually the first place we go when needing to book a location.
