We had a great stay at Robinson Hotel in Big Bear! The check-in process was super easy, fast, and hassle-free, which made for a great start to our trip. The room wasn’t the most updated, but it was spotless, and we appreciated the clean bed sheets and towels. Having a coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. The location is perfect—just a one-minute walk to the Village and only a few minutes’ drive to Snow Summit and Big Bear Ski Resort. It made everything so convenient! Would definitely stay here again!

The only minor downside was the shower—water pressure was low, and the shower head was positioned pretty low, so if you’re over 5 feet, you might have to crouch a bit. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

It was comfortable and convenient for what I wanted to do. There are a lot of shops and restaurants on their block. Big Bear Lake is about a block away and could see it from my window. There was always someone at the front desk when I needed to talk to them, and they were very friendly and helpful. The wifi worked properly.

It is an older place and is rustic and built pre-battery powered devices, so I was plugging in phone etc. where I could find outlets near the floor. The walls were thin, and I could hear the neighbors talking at night.

I was greeted politely. The original room assigned had machinery noise from the Frontier Communications facility across the alley. The fellow at the front desk changed my room promptly and the second room was sufficiently quiet. What is wonderful about Robinhood is the location. Across the street from the Rotary Club lakeside park and the marina, and right at the edge of Big Bear Village, which means a wide assortment of shops, restaurants, a movie theater and a beer garden are within 2-3 blocks of walking distance. The Robinhood has sufficiently abundant parking which is a plus on busy weekends.

Well, let's face it. The Robinhood could use some refreshing. My room had the normal amenities but one of the lights did not work, but not a big deal. The room was clean and reasonably quiet.

Good location, 5 min drive from Snow Summit and 5 min walk from the stop for the free mountain shuttle. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Clean and comfortable.

Nothing I disliked, but I thought it was odd that our bathroom window had no curtains, frosted glass, or anything to block the view from outside. Granted, with our room’s location and the window’s height, it didn’t seem like anything below my shoulders (I’m 5’11”) would have been visible; not sure about the other rooms, though.

You cannot beat this location. It's perfect waking distance to restaurants and shopping, the room we reserved was perfect with living room space in front of fireplace and the spa tub was perfect. The bed was comfortable.

When we first arrived the person at front desk was a little rude and seemed bothered, we arrived early. We are aware that check in is at 3, but decided to check and see if early check in was available. He just stated harshly.... before we even said a word... "CHECK IN IS 3" and didn't even look at us. He said he'd call if room became available, but never did. I returned at 3ish to a different person at front who was much nicer.

In a prior review, I was disappointed with my experience. Robin Hood resort responded to my review, saying they would work with me to rectify the situation. I am writing this review to let everyone know that I did follow up with them and they held true to their word, so you can believe them when they respond to peoples reviews that they will do everything to make your stay and future stay a positive experience. I would absolutely go back to this location. Their place was clean and everything functioned properly. The location is not right next to the slopes, but it is right on the main street that has a lot of the bars, shops, entertainment and restaurants. Parking also comes with your stay here, which is a huge plus. I recommend staying at this place.

Great location close to the lake and village. Once there we parked our car and walked everywhere. Such a cute place loved that they had a barbecue grill , table and chairs outside. They had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker which we thought was really great. The bed was comfortable . The gentleman at the front desk was was nice.

We are spoiled and used to air conditioning, it was a little hot during the day but ok at night. They had a ceiling fan and box fan which was so nice, and with the windows cracked it was good.

Room size was spacious! 1 Queen bed in a separate room. The other Queen bed was in the living room across from the loveseat couch. Living space had couch, coffee table, round dining table with 2-3 chairs. A small kitchenette with an ice bucket, paper coffee cups, plastic cups, coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. Room has carpet which looked cleaned and a fireplace (you can purchase firewood from the office). The tv had a good amount of channels, I brought my firestick though. Also there is parking behind the building and a restaurant in front of the building. I would definitely stay again.

The room was freezing when we arrived (was set at 50 F), the heater works well but took hours to warm the room from 50-70 degrees. The shower took maybe 4-5 mins to get hot and stayed hot the entire duration for both my shower and my friend’s shower which was shortly after. Also the bathroom faucet always ran cold water from both nozzles. Beds were decent to sleep on but they were springy old mattresses.

Location location location! Right in the village so you can walk everywhere and only a five minute drive down the main road to the ski resorts of snow summit and bear mountain! I also thought the room was very well maintained and cozy even though it’s not modern. The fact it’s very “log cabin in the 70’s” style is exactly why I like it so much. Anyone can stay at a best western if that’s important to you. Love the fireplace on the room that heats up very quickly.

The only thing I didn’t like are the pillows. Good lord my neck was messed up bc they aren’t made of down, so you can’t squish them to support your neck. They remind me of airplane pillows back in the day😂

Fabulous location right by the quaint village. Huge carpark. We had a corner room so could see the lake, mountains and people going onto the village. Decent sized room, very clean and loved the shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided in the shower. There was no air con but we had a fan and a blower plus the temperature was cool so they worked perfectly. You get 10% off in their restaurant and food was amazing.

Nothing.
