Breakfast was superb my sister and I had our evening meal there as well and it was just scrumptious and the breakfast is first class I think the chef is a real asset to the hotel All the staff are great and Blue was very pleasant and helpful Suoerb thank you all

Perhaps a shuttle going into town not free but had to get taxis a lot and they are not cheap

Area is lovely, breakfast excellent choice view exceptional

First booked into one room on checking, then when we went back to unpack we had another room, which was not so nice view wise, bathroom smelt stale/damp and had problem with sink drainage twice. But sink sorted.

Everything.. The staff and the Services of the hotel. I personally liked the catering of the hotel.. My partner and i Will definite re visit this hotel and newquay in general.

Everything apart from the parking circumstances. Customer were dumping their cars every where and not in the designated parking spaces-lines. And we couldnt find parking at the front. Our vehicle couldnt fit at the back which still was a overcrowded car Park. And the receptionist didnt care at all. The other thing that i didnt like was that i booked a room with seaview and i was Kind of a fake seaview.. Just a window... I know from experience that when a hotel with seaside offers extra-additionsl service as a seaview room which i paid.. It gives a room with balcony or a better view.

Room 209.lots of room,nice view of the beach.Sea gulls very noisy early morning. The breakfast was nice but nothing special.Convenientfor getting a bus int town.

Better choice in the restaurant.Didn’t like the girl with long hair when we went in for a meal not being happy because we hadn’t booked.We then was made to wait for her to ask what we would like for twenty minutes whilst she cleared tables which could easily have been done after she took our order.Why she wasnt happy we hadn’t booked when there was quite a few empty tables.

Everything was okay, i really enjoyed staying there, the staff was wonderful and very helpful with everything you needed, all were of 10+. They have the opportunity to get breakfast every morning, buffet plus hot meals of your choice (from the menu) , nothing was missing and lots of choices to choose from , everything was perfect! The room was big with massive bed plus additional single bed and clean, everywhere smells cleaned and nice. The downstairs bistro was perfect with good food and reasonable prices for every pocket 👌. Hopefully next time when we will visit the weather will be on ours side because there are a lot of things to do and visit Was better if we had sea view room but i didn't mind,was a pleasant stay . Thank you!

Nothing was wrong nor i didn't like, maybe the rooms needs a bit of refurbishment but nothing major, just a bit of paint and that's it, but that wasn't necessary a bad thing or i didn't like, to be honest i didn't mind at all :)

We had a great stay, staff from start to finish very helpful. Having a dog we didn't miss out on much as Allowed bar and bistro. Family loved the two bistro meals we had and the pool. Room was as requested 3 single beds, plenty of towels and anything we requested at reception was issued. We would certainly look forward to returning sometime. Lovely walks close by, and amazing restaurant cafe on the headland with terrific food also. Decor around hotel and room was really pleasant I would imagine recently upgraded.

Gym would be nice if a bit bigger and some music maybe. No sea view.

the fantastic staff members and how friendly helpful and welcoming they are and nothing seems to be too much trouble . we had a room with a stunning View of fistral beach and sea . the food was of high standard and enough to fill you up . restaurant staff truly fantastic. Daniel was awesome so was Olivia and Shona too . breakfast also well looked after you have continental self serve and cooked breakfast you can order at table . our room was clean and well presented nice clean linen so thank you housekeeping too . it’s not the most fancy hotel but value for money location friendly hardworking staff you can’t fault . we have never had any problems parking there either . it was a good three nights stay at the end of our honeymoon. we where sad to go but we will definitely be back as we only live an hour away :)

The Hotel is situated just outside the main town, near the cliff path to Fistral Beach. All staff were friendly, helpful and happy. Food in the Bistro had a very good choice and daily specials and portions were huge ! We ate there in the evenings as we could take our dog. Dogs are not allowed in the main restaurant. There is also a very comfy lounge with a bar, where you could eat if you wished. Lovely indoor swimming pool and games area. Towels are supplied and the reception area has comfy seating and a Bar as well..Just outside the pool there is a relaxing garden with loungers and table tennis for the energetic.

Breakfast was a little early for me, you had to be sitting down by 9.15 at the latest. It was an excellent buffet to help yourself and hot dishes to order. All included in the breakfast price. If you didnt go til 9.15 a.m. many of the dishes had gone (fruit salad, croissants, pain au chocolate etc. ) but I expect the staff would find some for you if you asked. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything else was perfect !!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable & clean. The pool area was also clean. I would definitely consider returning. Thank you for a lovely stay. Next time, I hope I can stay a bit longer.

It was a challenge & a bit of a worry that the hotel suffered from a malfunctioning with the fresh water system. Luckily, I had a late check-in, and the water came back on within a couple of hours of my arrival. Other guests may have had a different experience. However, the staff were all very calm, professional, and helpful. The only issue I have with hotels in general is that the tea/coffee/milk sachets generate a lot of watse. Might it be possible to look into ways of decreasing wasteage?

My stay was 22/6/23-23/6/23. Staff excellent, all cheery and v helpful, thankyou for a wonderful couple of nights . Breakfast was divine, a great selection and have to mention the poached eggs ..perfect. Hotel is in a great location , a good base to move about the Cornish coast ie Harlyn sands , Padstow..40 min drive , Watergate Bay, go the coast Rd it has exceptional sea views. Rounding up it was a perfect spot and brilliant staff.

The only thing that annoyed me but next time I'll take earplugs is the old creaky floor boards , I could hear every creaky step from room above ( only due to age of hotel ) I think it was built in 1920s, but has had a fabulous update. like I say, easily rectified ..ear plugs. will definitely stay again 100%. My other complaint ( NOT HOTEL ) would be the rip off Cornish Council car park charges , I would have thought you wanted to encourage people especially in these days of osterity but no you're out to get the tourists ..shame on Cornish Council £6:00- £6:50 for up to 4 hrs stay.
