Absolutely incredible view and a wonderful feeling of staying in a beautiful building that was there long before us, and will stand long after we're gone. The happiest day break our family has had in a very long time
The bathroom shelf needs fixing. Our daughter got a bit upset when she thought she broke it, but it was hanging on thin air to begin with. No big deal, but does need fixing.

The room and house generally was very nice decorated and very clean. Location great by the road, at first I was concerned about street noise, but that wasn't a issue, maybe because we had a good nights sleep in very comfy big bed.
Only downside, there was no breakfast facilities in house. So maybe it would fit more in category bed only?

I had a fantastic stay! I had everything I needed and the bed was so comfy. The only thing I had a problem with was the WiFi, I couldn't get on with the details and after hours of trying I tried to connect to a different network and It worked. If I'm in the area again I will definitely be giving Stone Lodge a call!

The frriendly welcome was much appreciated when I arrived on a very wet day. As a female solo traveller, I felt safe, which led to the best night's sleep in a very comfortable bed.
The bathroom was a little bit dated and in need of refurbishment.

Perfect location for the Heights of Abraham and an easy walk into Matlock Bath. Very clean, lovely soft towels and great mirror for make-up/hair. Parking close by, a two minute walk.
