I had a very good experience at Courtyard Marriott London Airport City. The room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable, with no disturbance at all. Housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning the room every day, which made our stay even better. The price was also incredible for the quality offered. I would definitely love to visit again!

However, there were a few things I didn’t like: the hotel is quite far from the city, so we always had to leave very early — often 1–2 hours in advance — to get to restaurants or visit different places. Also, while the room was cleaned well, towels were limited; we only received hand towels once, and after that they weren’t provided again. The most concerning part was being charged for food we never ordered. Thankfully, I noticed and clarified it, but it felt a bit unsettling. Additionally, the hotel took a £50 deposit, and if I hadn’t asked, the incorrect charge could have been deducted from it. This is definitely something for future guests to watch out for. Overall, the hotel is clean and comfortable, but I hope they improve these issues.

As always, the Marriot is amazing. Breakfast is good, Staff is friendly! There's parking for EV's if you ask them. The hotel is clean. If you need to be close to ExCel, it's just a 5 minute walk. I haven't been to the airport, but i believe that too is a short walk.

Unfortunately upon arrival, there were some long hairs in the bathroom that weren't mine or my partner's (i am bald, she has red hair, the hairs were brown) Room service first day was great, but the second and third day, they forgot some small items; like salt for fries, or even one of the sauces we paid for. (Had i brought this up with them, i'm 100% sure they would've brought it to us though)

The location of the hotel to LCY airport was the best thing for me, hotel staffs was very lovely and willingly to help at all time which was a massive first impression for me and the breakfast was great, room was clean and house keeping came every day and loved that I was always given a note when they were done cleaning to enjoy the clean room.. it made me happy.

Please this is not a negative comment but a suggestion of what can be improved: I do not know if this is possible but to have a little bit bigger space for the fitness centre as when I went to work out, there were few equipments to use and quite a number of people wanting to use equipments that were already in use and when people could not wait, they left... and also I would also like to suggest that during breakfast, you can have a stand and someone with a tablet at the entrance of the breakfast area to easily have people attended to by asking for their room number to which can be verified on the tablet, than asking when a hotel guest has already taken a seat with their breakfast, it can be taken the wrong way but over all I loved everything at the hotel.

Cleanliness was my main concern when making a booking. The reviews were right, this hotel is so clean and tidy. The room was so comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The staff were friendly and greeted me with a warm smile and were helpful with my silly questions. Really enjoyed my one night stay. I felt safe considering I was travelling solo.

- room size, cleanless, breakfast, luggage storage, comfort - the price - separately to mention the location. It was a compromise for sure. The hotel is a bit far away in case of family with kids holiday, and with my family I would not choose it. For a flexible solo woman traveller the location is ok. 8 min walk from the airport. Then 4 min walk from the bus station, then 5 min on the clean and almost empty bus going every 10 min, and then 25 min by metro to the center, and it is the only normal and comfortable metro line London has - Elizabeth. So I had great quality hotel for normal price (and not old stinky 6m2 room with brr greasy breakfast in the center) and longish but comfortable ride 2ce a day. If I come to London again and I am alone, I will definitely just come back here.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds and quiet, peaceful room at the rear of the property. Room was in great condition, it looked like new and was a great design and very clean. We were given complimentary breakfast each which was a wonderful surprise and much appreciated. Buffet breakfast was tasty and hot -even 20 minutes before the end of service. Perfect location just a very short walk from London City Airport and the tube station. Convenient bus stop 2 minutes walk away with regular bus service.

The only downside was the lighting wasn't great for applying makeup

I stayed here as I was looking for a hotel close to the London City Airport and close to the ExCel London. Both locations were walking distance, I didn't need to spend hours in London traffic - perfect! The staff was helpful and friendly. The room spacious and comfortable. The hotel clean.

The breakfast was the same each day… I was expecting the Marriott breakfast experience, but I am guessing the Courtyard has a different breakfast menu. Also I asked for a bathrobe and I was told they don't have any for their guests… I understand you don't have them for everyone in a room, but when a guest is requesting it - it should be available…
