We stayed at this hotel with our family, and it fully met our expectations. It exudes a charming traditional ambiance, which was precisely what we were looking for, as opposed to a more modern establishment. The room was both cozy and as described, providing a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Although we did not have the opportunity to enjoy breakfast during our brief one-day stay due to our early morning departure, we couldn't help but notice the inviting and cozy ambiance of the hotel bar.

Great location approx 10 min bus ride from city centre £2.20. Free parking, a real asset. Room clean, tidy and comfortable. Tea & coffee making facilities. Friendly staff. I have stayed before.

It was all good. However as this section wants me to comment, I would say the property overall is a little tired with a few stairs, but that is to be expected from an older, period property. For me, part of the charm!

We were made very welcome and although it was a slight uphill walk from the centre, it only took us about 10 mins to walk downhill and 15 uphill. It was great to have tea making facilities in the room and lots of hot water in the bathroom. The breakfast was great - bacon, sausage, egg, mushrooms, baked beans, tomato as well as juice, toast and cereal. Thank you for a lovely stay - everything as described.

Comfy bed. Room was enough for both of us. Toilet and shower is small but manageable.Quiet neighboorhood. Location 15 mins walk to Bath town Centre. Bus stop 3-5 mins walk. Frequent buses as well. Friendly receptionist. Good value for money considering everywhere else in Bath was expensive at the time of booking

Need some repairs on the shower but damage wasn't much of an issue.

Nice room - the extra living room space was fantastic.

Being told that breakfast was included in the price when we booked. However, the first day we went for breakfast we were denied it with the explanation that we should have ordered it the night before. When we checked in the night before we were not asked about breakfast nor had the policy explained to us. This felt like poor customer service and the policy could be improved. Also, the shower drain was blocked so we had to stop the shower head every few minutes to let it slowly drain. This is not what you expect when paying £140 a night.

The hotel was in a great location .just a pleasant stroll into the city .with a convenient bus service back .with a stop almost opposite the hotel The beds were comfortable. the bathroom was quite cold but apart from that all good Tea and coffee in the room Breakfast was superb .Full English plus good quality fresh orange juice cereal toast The owner was very helpful and we would definitely stay there again

Very convenient for Bath City centre and a small shopping area nearby with pub/restaurant. The walk into Bath is about 20 minutes downhill with helpful printed instructions available at reception. You might want to catch a bus back if you don't like steep hills. Great cooked breakfast with proper thick bacon. Our room was basic but clean with separate areas for sleeping and sitting/dressing. It suited our purpose which was to spend time in Bath. A bit tired and needs some TLC but where else could you stay this close to the City at this price.

Nothing we didn't like as such but the hotel seems to be run by one person, Danny, who does a great job - Jack of all trades. It means a "no frills" service which is a shame as other guests were a bit put off. Breakfast was lovely but you need to order it when you book (we had) so that supplies were bought in. We got the feeling that the owners of the hotel wanted it run on a low budget so breakfast was one step too far!

Excellent base to visit Bath, 15-20 minute walk to the city itself. Nice hotel with free parking, a must if visiting by car. Checked in by host. Nice big and quiet room, no complaints regarding room or shower facilities. If visiting Bath again would see if this was available when booking.

Wentworth House is a lovely period property. Good size room with sofa as well as bed. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good temperature, so we slept well. The bathroom was modern. The owner is very friendly and it was handy having information about a quick route into the city centre. The location was good - about a 15-minute walk to the city centre. It is very close to parks and Alexandra park with fabulous views over the city. Delicious traditional English breakfast was served. Parking is free for guests.

It was good value for money, but the shower wasn’t very powerful. The cooked breakfast was delicious, but it would have been good to have a few more options regarding cereals, or yogurts and also juice as well as hot drinks. It would also have been good to have filter coffee. However, we did enjoy the breakfast. It would also be useful to have the WiFi password in the bedrooms as well as in Reception.
