Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld®

This hotel exceeded our expectations. I am an executive and well traveled. I facilitate conferences all over the United States. Although this stay was family based, I checked out the business amenities and found them quite impressive. This hotel is ideal for both individuals and families, they somehow are able to to keep a fine separation. My family spent most of their time at the pool. I partook of the bar and restaurant. Food was very good. They also have unique and well recognized shops within the facility. The atmosphere is modern and inviting. The room was beautiful and had all the amenities we could ask for. The staff, from the management (we had a little glitch checking in) were absolute consummate professionals, right down to the cleaning staff who were personable and went out of their way to accommodate small whims. They played a new popular kid's movie on a big projector at the pool Saturday night. The pool, hot tub, and kid's pool play area was exceptional. We did theme parks but could've just stayed at the hotel and still had a great vacation. It is in walking distance of Sea World. The hotel has everything, you do not have to leave the premises to accommodate any need you may have. This hotel was on a 5 star level and we are well traveled. We are going back in May and bringing extended family. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys luxury at a reasonable price!

Would have loved to stay longer than just one day, You don’t need to go anywhere else! So am any things to do within the hotel, it was very spacious and comfortable. Pool area is very luxurious with many lounge chairs, outdoor game area, little water park. Food was delicious and at night they set up for family movie night outdoors

Hotel staff at the check-in not very helpful (said he will call me when the room is ready, he did not). Each morning waiting too long for two slices of gluten free bread (usually would get it at the end of the breakfast). Room cleaning included only towel change and bed making. Safe deposit box did not work (when cheked at the back, layers of dust not cleaned for a while)..Pool was closed (found out about this only after reservation).. Alternative was offered..

Great atrium and coffee bar. Charcuterie board was a value with monster big screen TV for sports. Across the street, literally, from Sea World. Rooms that face Sea World get a wonderful fireworks display. The photo posted with this review is from our balcony (which was also huge (Room 6109.)

The resort fee of $35 seems to be a cover for Wi-Fi and is excessive, unless you don't have a car. The shuttle services may make it worth your while even with a car, so that is a debate up in the air. Doesn't matter, you're paying for it, regardless, so get your money's worth. Otherwise, the parking is $38 just to be there, which is just a money grab, but it is $50 for valet. We went with the valet service and at least had the vehicle brought out and parked twice for us. All in all, it was an awful lot of money on a per night basis.

I like that there is a splash zone with big slides for the kids. The hotel is huge. The rooms are pretty big, same as the beds. You can add 2 more queen size inflatable imo. It is very close to SeaWorld & Aquatica. The front desk & hk staff are nice & friendly. The Starbucks inside has moved to the market (near bfast area) The breakfast is not included, I think it's around $20 per person. The parking is the same. I had misunderstanding regarding our fees though, it was the incidentals for $75. I thought it will get refunded but after weeks of calling & being told it will be back in our bank soon, the manager told me that it indeed covered the resort & parking fees. It took 2 weeks, I was under the impression that it was included when they charged my card upon checkin. But the manager was nice enough to give me something for the inconvenience so that was a plus!

The only thing I don't like is the bathroom, my eyes are very attentive when it comes to rust, I can see the sink, toilet and tub being outdated.

I wish pool had every day 1-5 pm DJ, my kid love it. It was very entertaining. Buffet food was delicious and fresh. Room was very clean with great view.

Room beds were not comfortable. In addition, third party for parks ticket seller, which is located on opposite side of hotel front desk. The ticket seller sold tickets for 2 days to see 2 parks, for 3 people, in the amount $460.00. When we arrived at SeaWorld we were not able to get in, because tickets were not scannable. We were told to stand in line where they sell tickets to reprint new ones and then to enter. That took extra our personal time. We lost second day tickets, because we did not go!

Room was very nice, loved the double sink in the bathroom. Beautiful atrium and Victor was awesome with helping us with our park plans and ticketing. Having Starbucks on location was great. Outdoor pool area and bar was very nice and service was awesome.

The toilet in the bathroom is terrible not sure how they haven't updated the height of the toilet. The parking fee is not fair 30.00 a day for parking is simply a money grab. For such a pricey hotel and beautiful atrium the restaurant menu is pretty limited. Resort fee was 35.00 daily a bit much for parking not to be included again money grab. Free shuttle service to Universal Studios was sooo disorganized told to be at one location for pickup but shuttle not there or if it was there it was at spot that was different from where you were told to be at, had to call dispatch three times for a return ride back to hotel.

We booked a king corner suite, the room size was nice. The amenities were good breakfast bar, middle bar menu was good. Staff were all great, even the valets who we did not use were very helpful and nice. We did really enjoy the stay.

The only thing was the bathroom in the corner king suite. The bathtub/shower combo was small and felt uneven. This made it hard to stand in and getting out of. I was hoping for a corner king suite, it would have had an updated walk-in shower. The shower head was older and could not be adjusted.

Wonderful breakfast and our waitress “Anna” was absolutely amazing! She was so very kind to my entire family. Boardwalk restaurant had outstanding food as well! Outdoor pool area is beautiful!

Front desk could have more pleasant attitudes when we were checking out. There was no response when we gave a great review about what a great job your housekeeping staff had done with our room. Fees were a bit much. To charge $30 parking per day on top of a $35 resort fee ( that offers shuttle service… but it’s very limited)

The inside of the resort is beautiful, and the best were crazy comfortable.

I didn’t like how everything was an added expense, you get charged for self parking $28/day and $30/day for the “resort” package that includes WiFi and the shuttle to go to the park. Every place I’ve ever stayed at included those in their expenses it wasn’t an additional fee. I booked here because it had the best reviews for the best price, but then got charged an additional $58/day.
