The main reception room was clean and comfortable with wi-fi performant. The hotel provided an excellent Turkish style breakfast every morning, including turkish coffee when requested and catering for vegetarian requirements. It was very well located within walking distance (fit active 50-something year olds) to all of the old town sites (mosques, museums, Topkapi Palace, parks, Grand Bazaar (literally at the top of the hill from the hotel)) and close access to the trams for access to the northern side of Galata Bridge, or easy access to Hagia Sofia if you don't want to walk. Local restaurants were available. Special mention must go to member of staff Murad (afternoon/early evening coverage), who was able to provide very helpful local advice in English and guidance on places to visit and eat/drink both locally and in other areas of Istanbul you may want to visit. However, all members of staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel helpfully arranged both a Bosphorous boat trip and an airport taxi for us seamlessly. The hotel is also very well positioned for being awoken by morning prayers being called from the mosques locally which adds a real sense again of being embedded in the local community.

It is worth pointing out that the hotel location is in the old town and, consequently, it is a working part of town (shoe making appears to be the dominant industry with small businesses and wholesalers shops in abundance) which appears to be being gradually renovated, particularly where new, small independent hotels like Miro are being established. It is quiet at night but comes alive in the morning and can be really bustling. We loved it though with its' sense of liveliness and weren't disturbed by the noise on the fourth floor. The street which leads up to the main east west road heading west from Sultanahmet, where you can catch the trams at Beyazit, is also fairly steep if mobility is an issue with about 200m up to the main road junction and the trams.

My family and I are delighted with this hotel. It is logical that it has such a high rating. He totally deserved it. The rooms are very clean, cozy, wide and well furnished. The bathroom is new, clean, wide. The room smells fresh and clean. We were in a room with a view of the Bosphorus. The view was impressive. The room had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The towels are of very good quality and are changed every day if you wish. It is cleaned every day. The hotel itself is very art style. It is located very close to the Grand Bazaar and is only two stops away from the most important sights. The manager helped us with absolutely everything. He patiently answered all our questions and requests. Very polite people who tried to make our vacation even better. I would come and stay at this hotel again. I recommend it to everyone. You won't be disappointed.

After spending 1 tedious night in studenty and cramped Kadiköy, we decided to come back to the European side and spontaneously booked this accommodation. The best thing we could have done! The room was huge, nicely and modernly furnished and both room and bathroom perfectly clean. The nice gentlemen at the counter were always on hand with tips and helpfulness. The included breakfast was basic but sufficient. In just a few minutes walk you are directly at the big bazaar. Nevertheless, the neighborhood is very quiet. The entire hotel atmosphere was typically Turkish. We loved it! We will come again. Thanks for everything

my stay at this hotel in Istanbul was exceptional. They paid meticulous attention to cleanliness, which was vital for someone with dust allergies. Their thoughtful gesture of providing a map of nearby tourist attractions and the proximity of the metro station made exploring Istanbul a breeze, especially for a first-time visitor like myself. The staff are amazing- so friendly and always available. Great to have breakfast included which is a standard Turkish breakfast each day. Comfy bed and good size room. We were also gifted a free upgrade which was really appreciated.

The walls and floors/ceilings are really thin so you can hear all noise- not the fault of the hotel but when we were there one room had babies crying throughout the night, another had a couple fighting for hours. We could hear everything and it impacted our sleep.

Fabulous location. A good stroll to the Grand Bazaar, the Blue and Sophia Hagia mosques, both Cisterns, Guilhane park, fish in a roll beside the Bosphorus Tarihi Eminönü Balık Ekmek .. Many food outlets to suit all budgets nearby, ask the friendly hosts for best eateries.. The hotel is located in the midst of shoe and handbag outlets,​ shopping paradise. Very caring and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms, sound proof excellent. Highly recommended.

We loved the position, very practical to do most of the essential sightseeing from, yet in the middle of not tourist-y streets. Quiet (despute a lively neighborhood) and safe even late at night, at least in our experience :) We asked to leave our luggage our entire last day in Istanbul after checking-out and they let us do it without any issues.

We booked an economy room, that proved to be somewhat below our expectations from the pictures in terms of spaciousness and maintenance but we found it lovely nonetheless.

Everything was perfect! The staff and location were great! Staff were really friendly! Everyday they cleaned our room and provided extra supplies. And traditional breakfast was really delicious! I stayed with my parents and they really liked everything) the location was comfortable. It is in 5-6min walk from the tram station. We are really thankful to staff for their warm hospitality🥰
