Hotel Delfino Lugano

The room was great and so is the staff especially the receptionist. The bed is nice enough and the view was superb. Keep up tje great work!

None so far. It is a place we would go back to. It is a place i could recommend to my family, friends and others.

This hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and obliging. there is very much a family feel to Hotel Delfino. They also have great facilities for cyclists and mountain bikers with dedicated storage, cleaning and maintenance areas. we also got two complementary bottles of water each day which was greatly appreciated

the rooms are quite small, especially the bathroom and our room smelled of smoke. it was a no smoking room but there was an ask tray on the balcony which probably explained the smell.

Clean, easy to find and get to from the main train station by bus, good enough for a quick stay and fairly good price for Switzerland. Breakfast area looked really nice unfortunately we didn't have a chance to try. If looking for a 1 or 2 night stay i would recommend something closer to the main station as there isnt a lot to see in this area.

The description of the view was a little deceiving however i imagine the nicer rooms do have a good view! Beds weren't super comfortable.

The picture of the room matched with the photo which were published in the website. The view is gorgeous and breathtaking. The room is designed to enjoy Lugano to the fullest. The hotel is also located very close to the railway station and funicular to go up to the mountain. The hotel also has brochures to check what great activities are around with descriptions. The restaurant had delicious food. The breakfast was also satisfying.

There were a power outage for 30 minutes which was unexpected. However, it didn’t cause any inconvenience.

Location - close to lakes edge ..approx. 10 minute walk. Use of car park in city (had to pay but at least convenient). Clean room with good facilities and a balcony to look over the town and up the nearby mountains. Staff were helpful when needing some help. Breakfast was good - continentsl style.

Shower head was a little bit strange - did not sit well in holder and so pointed in a slightly skewed direction.

We had a great stay at Hotel Delfino. It is at very convenient location, just 100 mts from a bus stop and also very close to the lake side. I particularly liked my room which has great lake and mountain view from the balcony as exactly mentioned in the room description. We were there for our anniversary celebration and on our request hotel staff arranged nice complementary cake and flowers for us before our arrival which was really awesome. I would definitely consider staying there again on my next visit.

Breakfast was good but could have been better with little more choices of bread. But I have no complains.

the location was great, breakfast was good but could have a better variety. it was very clean and neat, price was also okay for what we got. reception staff was very welcoming and friendly.

the restaurant manager was not a very pleasant person, he was very loud and I could’ve sensed that he’s not treating his staff appropriately in front of guests. I don’t speak Italian but my friend does and he understood everything. the rest of restaurant staff was very nice.

The hotel felt like a home from home. The room was spacious and had plenty of seating. The bed was comfortable, room came with a good fridge and the Wi-Fi connection was excellent. Has a lovely restaurant and on the first night we ate in a lovely dining room and the other nights we ate in the terrace. The room we had came with a beautiful view! The swimming pool was very inviting!

Nothing to dislike about this property.

The view from the balcony was stunning. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced. Loved this hotel. A little far from the centre but you get free public transport and the buses go every 10 minutes from right outside the hotel. You can also walk it in 30 minutes if you don’t mind the walk.

Nothing it was great

We loved the set up of the connecting rooms. The view from the balconies were beautiful and a perfect place to unwind. The hotel also did a great job of setting up a pack and play for our little one so everything was ready for us when we checked in :)

We were disappointed with the lack of options for breakfast but the breakfast room was really cute overlooking the pool. The coffee was yummy though too!
