H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg

Breakfast was super. A lot of different food to choose for adults and kids. Also the pool was rather big and nice. The staff was always friendly. The location of the hotel is super convenient. It is 5 minutes walk to train station, 15 minutes walk to mountains, 2 minutes walk to a supermarket and restaurants.

There is also a restaurant in the hotel. We had dinner there but we didn't like it very much. We were a little bit confused about naked spa zone. We didn't expect that because we were with a small child but children under 16 are not allowed to visit this zone.

Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food. Extremely friendly and helpful staff willing to answer any silly question or request. The spa was very clean and really nice with very good opening hours (pool from 9-22, sauna 16-22). There is a superb child playground just opposite to the hotel main entrance!

Room seemed to be unused for a long time and looked a bit unclean/dusty. The garage was noisy, a bit dark and often smelled of cigarette smoke strongly.

The room was excellent with great views, we would have liked information pack particularly for the tv channels this apart we have no complaints. The breakfast was excellent. Being close to the station and supermarket was an added bonus for us.

Ideal hotel location next to ski bus stop, food variety during breakfast, nice swimming pool and spa area for relaxing after skiing, storage rooms for skis, beautiful views from the balcony, coffee machines in the rooms.

I'd prefer a bit more firm pillows. Also serving fondue in the restaurant in the evening could be done with closed restaurant doors - to reduce not so pleasant smell in the hotel lobby

The room was a good size and really comfortable. The balcony offered a view of the mountains in between buildings. The swimming pool area was really clean. It was nice to have the pool all to myself. I would say it is not accessible to everyone as there is one set of "stepladder steps" which can be difficult for some. Breakfast is in the Titlis restaurant. There was a wide choice of food and drink which caters for all tastes. There is a restaurant for evening meals which is accessible via the lobby. The bus stop to the Titlis Cable car is opposite. There are 2 supermarkets within a minute walk.

I am a single traveller, so sometimes you get overlooked in restaurants, which was the case here. It took a while for someone to come and speak to me, even though the restaurant wasn't busy (it was after 8pm) . Finally a waitress came to speak to me and ask me and then said she would be back in the minute and went into the kitchen area. I was just left standing there, which as I was on my own, it was a bit embarrassing. Another waitress finally came to help me after a few minutes. Although the service and food was good, I found the experience uncomfortable.

The room was great, large enough for me, my two children and their grandmother, with very comfortable beds and a clean and modern bathroom. We also loved the swimming pool, which was clean and not too cold! The breakfast was amazing and had a fantastic selection, which we all enjoyed.

We were disappointed not to be able to have dinner in the on site restaurant. It was an oversight on our part as we hadn't booked a table. We'll definitely remember this for next time.

Excellent location! Right in the heart of Engelberg, lots of restaurants, shops, and supermarket next door. Staff was friendly, accommodating, cheerful. I think the rooms were well-insulated against noise, we did not even hear doors being opened or showers being used by other hotel guests. Spa facilities were good too. Small and sufficient. Breakfast buffet was absolutely tip top. Will stay again if we ever are again in Engelberg.

None really, but maybe having a gym would be nice or possibilities to rent hotel bikes would be great options to offer to guests.

The location in the heart of the miraculous Engelberg near the shuttle bus to the ski lift. Very comfortable and big family room. Swimming pool and sauna.

No kettle, no tea bags, no cups by default in the room, no Nespresso coffee machine in the room. The coffee in the restaurant is awful (very dark roasted). The restaurant clearly needs either a better quality coffee beans or installation of the Nespresso professional machines. No jacuzzi anymore near the swimming pool. Spa area is very poorly cleaned. Excessive water everywhere on the floor posing a risk of slipping. With only 4 people in the pool all 8 long chairs were "taken" by dirty towels thrown by previous users and I know why. Because there is no basket for dirty towels. Also, there were no clean cups to enjoy the nice variety of teas in sauna area. You need to book the indoor parking in advance.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great room for a family with two children. Good breakfast. Our daughters enjoyed the swimming pool big time. Also the closing time for the swimming pool is surprisingly late for Switzerland 22:00

They are short on parking spaces and we had to leave our car at the train station (which is not too far)

One of the restaurant's staff was rude. While we were waiting to place our order, he kept ignoring us and serving others. Kind of got a feeling that it was a racial thing. Another thing was that we were told that the restaurant is open till 9 pm but we were refused dinner at about 8:50 pm.
