Central Swiss Quality Sporthotel

Lovely spacious rooms with large balcony. Nice to open the windows and step out. Used the pool. Only ones in it so plenty of room. Easy check in and friendly staff. Nice ambience- traditional Swiss hotel with wooden decor. Great hotel to visit in the summer. Lovely views of trees & mountains. 24- hour desk. We were back very late after a concert & it was no problem getting in. Perfect for the purpose & good value compared to comparable other hotels. Would recommend.

The only thing was at breakfast- cheese too hard and eggs could be warmer but we were at the end of breakfast time. Breakfast staff pleasant though.

Location in walking distance from Davos Platz station, bus stop for getting around in Davos very close by. Good breakfast, especially the different choices for bread. Unfortunately I did not have time to use the swimming pool or other facilities, so cannot provide feedback on those. Staff was friendly and helpful.

First night the people in the next room were loud until after midnight (of course that is not the fault of the hotel per se, but it was still annoying)

Only stayed one night, but it was excellent. The room was really bog and comfortable. I really enjoyed the breakfast as there was plenty of choice. The pool was really inviting with a view of the mountain. Having it all to myself was a bonus! In the room there was a bathrobe and slippers which was a great touch. The hotel is a minute walk from the bus stop and Shatzalpbahn. It is down a side street which can be quite steep for some people. A bonus was the Davos card I was given at reception which allowed free uses of the locate transport. Overall a really good stay.

Nothing. Everything was good. Even got snow flurries in the morning, which made me happy!

Location is great. Breakfast was good. Room was very nice and especially large. Roof terrace is super nice. Spa and pool are really all you need but might be on the small side in winter.

It would be nice if breakfast had some smoked salmon. TV: not one English channel apart from CNN worked- "no ci module". I think German channels worked but didn't test that. Wireless is weak, so everything is super slow on the computer but hey- it worked.

The breakfast was good. As I was leaving before the breakfast, the staff prepared a lunch box and I was able to have my breakfast in train. Super friendly staff. There is a special cabinet in the lobby where to keep skiing equipment.

The WiFi signal was quite weak. There were places in the number where there were no WiFi signal. The best WiFi signal was in the corridor.

The room was clean and spatious. The staff was very friendly. The food was well prepared and delicious.

Because of Covid, a number of things that are usually provided are restricted. Two examples are dining a la carte and sauna. With Covid, you need to make a reservation for both of them. While the hotel informed us about the need to make a reservation for dining at the cost of 50chf per person, no one informed us about the need to make a reservation for the sauna. When we found out, it was of course fully booked.

Great room. They also provided a Crib for our 7 month old baby. The swimming pool was great. We also ordered some food from room service. It was decent. Location is very convenient. It is right next to a bus stop that goes to a lot of places.

Breakfast was tasty but had a very minimal variety of food. The only hot item was scrambled eggs and coffee/ tea. It would get very boring if you're here for more than 2-3 days. Also, in-house restaurant has very limited vegetarian food options.

This is a great hotel to stay in. The room was very nice with a great view. There is an indoor pool and sauna. All the staff were very attentive. A special mention for Roberto who is in charge of the dining room. During my stay everything was perfect.

the walk-in shower floor was very slippery and there were no bars for support. Quite dangerous! I remarked on this at reception on departure.

In general, good value for money, really clean and tidy, the rooms are partially renovated with super nice bathroom and bedroom furniture, electric outlets next to the bed. Spacious room, pleasant interior and sufficient storage space. Separate ski storage downstairs. Friendly and competent staff, breakfast is totally fine, mostly cold food available plus scrambled eggs. So don't expect an "English breakfast". Small swimming pool and wellness area are also available, but beware of size and other restrictions. You also receive a guest card which allows to use public transportation so you can leave the car in the paid parking around the property.

Although we loved to stay here, the hotel had some parts what need more attention. It has a bit outdated feeling, lots of 70's concrete and oldschool design solutions... The wellness area is really tiny, stuck in somewhere decades ago - but it's okay enough - we still did enjoy the possibility of having a sauna after a day of skiing. The elevators were slow and insufficient to handle the amount of guests - we took stairs, but not sure everyone would walk up and down 5-6 floors. Soundproofing of the doors wasn't really perfect, kids shouting and running up and down the corridors entire evening - perhaps a policy of separating guests with and without kids on different floors might help a bit. But overall, it's fine.
