The hostel is very clean and in the quiet neighbourhood. All facilities are available. Although if the hostel is fully occupied, then there will be queues in the common areas (kitchen, wc). The staff is very responsive and helpful.

Not a complaint really but a suggestion for self check-in improvement, since the reception and lodging quarters are in different buildings of the school campus: In addition to the SMS information, I suggest providing these details via email and booking.com (including a map of the campus) a few days before arrival. I arrived after dark and found it difficult to locate the reception building based on the SMS descriptions alone. Additionally, the reception building is labelled as a school (no indication that it's related to the hostel was visible in the dark), which added to the confusion. Google Maps also points to one of the lodging building (which looks like a reception, but it's not).

Had a great stay in the hostel - great location if you looking for a base to visit Stockholm and the area. The old part of Sigtuna is about 15 minutes walk from hostel where you’ll find a good supermarket. Or there is a more pleasant 20 minute walk into town along the lakeside. Or there are regular buses if you have a lot of shopping :-) Town has a few good cafe and restaurants. We liked the one on the pier by the lake. Great cheap eats with wonderful view. You can swim in the lake, which was great in the evening after a hot day sightseeing - just 5 minutes from hostel. Hostel very clean and kitchen was more what you expect from rented holiday accommodation. It had everything, also sofa etc to relax in. There is pool table and table tennis, which is great if you have kids. Bedrooms a little soulless, but beds comfortable and nice and quiet. We don’t have a car and so completely reliant on public transport and I have to say this is best integrated transport system we have experienced on a holiday for many a year. There is bus stop outside the hostel that goes to the station. You hardly ever have to wait as there is always connections. It was about an hour, door-to-door to get to central Stockholm. Also lots of evening options so didn’t feel like we had to rush back. If you are using public transportation, don’t forget to get the a SL card that covers local buses, trains, metro and even ferry. It’s a bargain and means you don’t have to worry about paying every time you get on the bus. Note this only works on red buses, not the yellow one

I like the general location and had stayed before in the house lower down the hill which was excellent The lady in the reception did say I can ask for that house next time.

As I'm approaching my 80s I found it an effort to walk up to the house I stayed in this time.

Location of the hostel was perfect and quite big parking area helped me a lot to have a really pleasant stay in Sigtuna. Wi-Fi network worked properly so I could watch either TV or TV series on different streaming platforms.

I have no idea about potential improvements. The only idea is maybe to prolong opening hours of reception?

The bus 575 stops right in front of the hostel, very practical. We didn't find the reception right away but after a telephone call a friendly person brought us straight to our room. The room was spacious and comfortable: big window, bed, nightstands, sofa with practical electrical outlets. Nice bathroom too. Great stay!

Excellent price quality ratio. Rooms and toilets were clean. There was pool table and ping pong table that our kids loved. Short walk away from the city center. Nothing fancy but excellent for a short visit with possibility to make your own food.

Kitchen could have been a bit cleaner.

If I was staying more than one night, I would have liked some drawers to put my clothes into. Small closet to hang shirts was nice. Staff were very friendly and the baggage room was convenient.

Practical, well organized hostel with plenty of common areas. Clean facilities and all information provided at check-in and in the room. Would definitely stay there again.

We thought the rooms were very comfortable, and the hostel is in a great location. The staff were also very kind to us in letting us stay when I had booked the wrong night!

Location was great. It was inside the forest. Also you can see the sea from window. Common room was clean and useful.

It is hard to find your key if you arrive on weekends. Reception was closed. But it was not a nightmare.
