Hotel Civera

Very nice hotel, comfortable, clean and well located. We stayed for one night and had to leave early the next morning so did not have breakfast. Though it looks very good with lots of choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Car parking, an interesting opportunity to test your driving skills!! One can pull in at the front of the hotel 4 or 5 spaces to do so for a maximum of 15 minutes. The car park entrance is approx 200 metres from the hotel on the same side of the road but back towards Teruel centre. Be warned if you drive a typical salon car (Mercedes c class size) you should be fine. Anything bigger (E class) then expect to have to shuffle your car into a space as it is very tight in turning and there are numerous pillars to be wary of. But not a problem , take your time! Car park is secure and has a side entrance that takes one out to the same street the hotel is on. All very safe. The hotel is located approx 10 to 15 minutes from central Teruel, definitely worth a visit for the Plaza Mayor, shops & bars. Definitely would stay again.

Nothing I wish we had more time to explore Teruel. A very historic city.

Good location and large room with a big bathroom. Plenty of nearby free on-street parking (or a hotel garage at extra cost). Staff were friendly and helpful. Near to a number of small local bars/cafes and only a 10 minute walk to the historic centre and its range of bars and restaurants.

The room was hot at night and the air conditioning was on "heat" mode, so.it would not cool the room. Opening a window helped, but this made the traffic noise from a main road rather loud.

Very nice room, very clean,quiet, modern, en-suite with walk in shower, comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Parking - I opted for secure parking. This was located 100 metres down the street underground. It was extremely difficult and stressful to manoeuvre in and out of the spaces due to the pillars supporting the building above. The charge is €14 per night. I would not recommend unless you are an extremely capable driver with a small car. There is on-street parking available.

This was just an overnight stay, but the service received was excellent. The receptionist was very helpful and spoke very good English. On st parking (free) outside the hotel. The room was exceptionally clean with very good onsuite. The breakfast was excellent value (the best I've had in a spanish hotel). I will certainly be staying for a longer period next time I am travelling in the area.

Extremely clean and spacious room with great bathroom. Ideal location near several bars/restaurants nearby. Adequate street parking although they do have private garage 100mtrs away. Didn't have breakfast but it looked to have lots of choices. For a three star hotel it was ideal for a short stay.

No bar which is probably why it is only three star.,

I've stayed here before and knew it was the right spot. Comfy room. Decent breakfast. Secure parking for my motorcycle. Staff was very friendly.

Parking was a short walk away. Just meant I had to unload the bike, park the bike go to the room and the opposite in the morning. Go to the garage, bring it to the loading zone, go to room, get the gear. Not really a complaint, just an extra step.

Hotel is ideally located. Close to the centre of town and all required amenities. Reception staff are very professional and speak English.

This is our second stay at the hotel and on both occasions a double room was booked. The hotels idea of a double bed seems to be 2 single beds pushed together?? When making the reservation this time I specifically requested a “double” bed.

Good restaurant next door and takeaway Chinese close buy great breakfast.

Only because I am disabled and in a wheelchair there should be mention that the secure parking is just along the road from the hotel and a very steep ramp to get out. The hotel is right on the roundabout so you can easily miss it.

The Reina Cristina (yes, I got sent here, not the Civera) hotel is very quiet at night with excellent soundproofing from the street. the bed was outstanding. I was happy overall and the location is great. Staff were helpful. There are a few important problems though: 1) the Civera hotel where you may have booked is closed. No problem, but you get conflicting email messages about this (eg Civera confirming then a side note saying "go to the Reina Sofia"). Why not call me? Or SMS? just to make sure I read the small print before getting in the car? 2) The hotel should tell everyone that the free parking is at the huge train station car park which is just 5 mins away, with an elevator taking you to right outside the hotel. Reception emailed me to "go to the hotel, then they'd tell me where the free parking was". I was not pleased as I had to leave my car at the bus stop where it could have been towed away, in order to ask where to get free parking! It just seemed like a way of getting me to pay 14 euros for their own parking. 3) When asking for places to have breakfast, I was also recommended the hotel's own cafe, which is a shame, as I found some outstanding cafes at the Ovalo area right in front of the hotel. All this said, Im happy with the Gargallo hotels and this one, and I will choose this place again now that I have made my own discoveries and know not to let them upsell parking and eating.

Fantastic showers. Comfy beds. Very clean. Good WiFi. Typical Spanish breakfast spread. Lovely staff

Only complimentary fruit which wasn't ripe yet. We had the family rooms so 2 rooms connected with a small lobby space. The light on a sensor kept going on and off all night.
