Hotel Barrameda

Location: Could not be more central as it is on the main square, yet very quiet. Parking was secure and a minute's walk away costing €9 a day (booked in advance). I would also recommend the ten minute walk to the Barrio Alta, for a more 'local' bar experience, although bars on the main square, particularly Balbino, are very good. Room: Very clean. Beds were very comfy with good linen. Balcony overlooking the courtyard area. Air con very efficient and quiet. Fridge with complementary water. Bathroom: Very clean. Good shower over bath, sink with space for potions and lotions, bidet and loo. Nice towels Common areas: Airy reception/lounge area with comfy seating. Lifts to upper floors. Breakfast area inside or outside in courtyard with water feature and plants. Gorgeous roof terrace with shade and sun. Comfy seating or sun loungers and lots of well kept plants.

Everything was perfect

Great location in the centre of Sanlucar. Staff were very helpful and arranged parking for us nearby at v. reasonable cost (€7/day). Second night we had a room overlooking the square with shutters that were very effective at both blocking out the light and any noise from the square. Breakfast was fine but no options for cooked eggs etc, so fairly basic rather than extensive.

We changed our first room (206) after being kept up part of the night by conversations in the room next door and then a TV which seemed to be left on all night! Rooms are not enormous and we were expecting more for a 'superior double', but we decided they were fine and had a pleasant enough stay/

The location is excellent right in the centre of Sanlucar, overlooking the main town square. Rooms are spotlessly clean, and it’s a great touch to have a bottle of water supplied. The staff are excellent and all very friendly we will definitely stay again.

The hotel is located in the centre of Sanlucar, close to the beautiful square and restaurants and shops. it was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

The hotel was lovely, nothing at all to complain about. If you bring a car make sure you prebook a parking place in one of the hotel’s car parks as the hotel is in a pedestrian area with no on street parking nearby.

A fabulous place to stay right in the heart of the city. Our room overlooked the busy plaza, no problem with noise due to very good soundproof double glazed windows. Lots of restaurants and bars near by, a few minutes walk to the old town in one direction and the sea in the other. All of the staff were helpful and very friendly. If you want a stay in Sanlucar this hotel is a winner.

it was very clean, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. we did not realize it was the fair, and some roads were blocked. we phoned the hotel, as we were having difficulty finding it. The receptionist stayed on the phone and guided us to the parking, once we found out where we were. Being fair week, there was lots of traffic, she knew the way from where we found ourselves and guided us to the parking . excellent service.

fabulous hotel which is so much more than a two star. Hotel is in a fabulous position in the main square with easy access to all the fabulous restaurants in Sanlucar. Cadiz is within easy reach making for a fantastic day out. Staff are just wonderful and can help with recommendations and reservations. Breakfast was really fresh - good variety and lovely fresh orange juice. Loved it - volveremos!

Reception / breakfast staff were excellent, breakfast very good value for money. Hotel parking 200 metres away and only 7 euros/day. TIP for those booking parking. Obtain the gate code prior to arriving. If using Sat Nav, ignore the "no entrance to this street" Enter street and car parking gate is 20 metres on the left. You need the code to enter, Leave car park on foot, turn left then left again on the main street. Hotel 3 minutes on the left.

Hotel room soundproofing with adjacent room poor. At 2AM I could still hear my neighbour watching TV.

We liked the room and it's facilities very much, including bottle of water in the fridge. Quality hotel in a location difficult to beat.

Paper cups for tea/coffee in the room. Nevertheless, few hotels in the region in this price range seem to provide this facility atall, in any case.

Very nice hotel in the center of town. Clean and well maintained. Walking distance to all historic sights as well as the sunset on the horizon. Even the breakfast was good.

A good choice for our three days. Nothing was bad.
