Soho Boutique Malaga

- great location, clean, nice hotel staff

I was in the top room (Dachgeschoss), therefore it was rather dark. The breakfast was included and the hotel guest had breakfast with other guest as it was a public coffee. The staff was sometime a bit stressed out amd it took quite long until the food was served and stuff got forgotten. Nevertheless, the food was good. The choice was rather small, but ok.

Excellent location, recently refurbished with comfortable well equipped room in the heart of the city, some noise is to be expected due to the location. There is a taxi rank outside - really useful in getting to the airport and we really enjoyed the stay. Reception staff were very helpful and this was excellent value for money.

Breakfast is taken in the adjoining coffee shop / pavement cafe which is open to the public and reception staff reserve a table at a given time. This works well although the cafe staff were very busy and there was a delay being served, although this was not too much of an issue.

location was perfect for us as we were in Malaga to see the Christmas lights switch on

we had been relocated as the last minute from another soho boutique hotel. we were allocated a disabled room which surprisingly was on the top (5th) floor. the mirror was too low for my husband as he’s 6ft 2, the shower was a handheld and the bathroom was a wet room. water was everywhere. didn’t complain as we were only there for one night and didn’t have time as we were on a tight schedule

Excellent location, great corner room on the third floor with a balcony overlooking Calle Cordoba in Malaga, Spain. Easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Malaga.

There was only one chair in the room, so we requested a second chair which the staff provided. There also was no small table next to the sitting chairs to set books, coffee, etc. on while reading. In the bathroom there was very little surface area to place toiletries. There was more than sufficient space under the bathroom window for a small table with a shelf that could be used to place personal items during our stay.

Perfect location. Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Coffee shop is part of the hotel and you can get hotel breakfast which I would recommend or just get your own. Staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. We had a single room which was small and would have preferred a balcony so would request one in future. Highly recommend but with a balcony 😊

It was our wedding anniversary, so we booked the executive room. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was great. The complimentary mini bar was excellent, and we couldn't fault the location. We will definitely return.

A bottle opener would have been good for the mini bar, and a litter bin in the bedroom would have been handy.

Staff just awesome! Thank you for the possibility to move to the room 403 - so quite after the first night on the 1st floor. Breakfast tasty and ok - choice from 4 menus, no buffet. Location fantastic - close to the city centre, harbour, train station (train to the airport) and bus stops.

Thin walls - could hear our neigbours. Hotel in a street with strong traffic = lots of noise, even with closed windows (in summer with open window couldn ´t stay on the 1st and 2nd floor. Very small bathroom, small standard rooms - but being out the whole day it was ok.

The hotel is in an excellent central location, near to the city centre, public transport and more. Breakfast is served at the cafe downstairs with menu choices (not a budget). The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast menu options may be limited for people with dietary restrictions. The rooms have thin walls.

Breakfast good, little cafeteria off hotel. Very central. Google maps not great at distinguishing between the different Soho Boutique hotels!!! Sent us to Colon first but that was a minor irritation. Staff are amazing , so helpful and good recommendations for eating and drinking in Malaga.Malaga is a beautiful city we have put it on the list for a return city break. Took the city tour bus with Picasso museum entrance and Hour boat ride definitely worth it.

The hotel is located within a few minutes' walking distance of the old town, main shopping area, Picasso Museum, Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle, and dozens of bars and restaurants including the iconic: bodega bar - El Pimpi and tapas bar - Casa Lola. By staying in the hotel you can have quietness and yet still enjoy the social life in the center without the necessity of being in the middle of it I recommend going as well to a restaurant very close to the hotel - Los Mellizos - which serves great seafood, paella, and a typical plate from Málaga - los boquerones.
