Location. New refurbished bedrooms and bathrooms with powerful shower. Spotlessly clean throughout. Well maintained. Small hotel but very efficient. Nice staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was reasonable for 3* and always well stocked up.

Some rooms (not ours) are internal ones with only atrium light. This could be a problem.

Great location near train and metro stations (a trip from the airport was about 2.40 Euro and took just 15 minutes), close to the city center (15-20 minutes of walking), very clean rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff, good breakfast. I had an issue with Wi-Fi in my room, and the staff solved it quickly - just in 30 minutes everything was fixed and the Internet connection was excellent. Can highly recommend, excellent value for money!

We stayed only for one night but the room had everything we needed. Although we got twin beds and not a double bed, they were very comfortable. The staff was very attentive, the location is ideal, and the room is SO CLEAN! Because of past experiences at other hotels, we check the filters and possible mould in the shower/bath, Don Paco's was spotless. Absolutely recommend it.

Would've been nice to have a kettle to boil some water in the room or a small fridge since we travelled with a little food due to allergies, but no big deal. I'm sure that if we had asked they'd have offered an alternative, there's nothing really "negative".

The hotel itself was very cozy, also the staff at the reception (and in general) during our stay were very helpful and kind. Although we had a small problem in the beginning with our room, one of the receptionists Jual Luis (I hope I'm spelling it right, if not - I apologize) helped us immediately. The breakfast area was small, but adequate and the food was just perfect for starting the day. The hotel is also located in a beautiful part of the city where everything you need including the city centre is nearby. We were happy with our stay and we would 100 % choose this hotel again for our next visit. Thank you all! :-)

Check-in was smooth. The room was more than comfortable for solo traveler. Location is just perfect: train and bus station 5-7 min away. Local bus stop is 2 min away. Several supermarkets are nearby as well. Room was cleaned every day. Towel change is upon request. Breakfast was good enough but simple: bread, jam, cheese, ham, eggs, beans. Coffee was surprisingly good! Overall, nothing to complain about! Everything was as described! Definitely a place to come back!

It was not an issue for me, but be aware that the majority of rooms has a patio view. Meaning, that the room actually has a window, but most probably you will not open it as you will not want to see other guests. There are rooms with city view, so make sure what you book.

I traveled solo, and just came and went as I liked. We spoke coming and going, but they just let me do my thing, which was greatly appreciated. I was exhausted from a cruise and not feeling great- I just kinda wanted my space & they were awesome. Great location! I could see the train station from my window! Bus station was right behind that, and the city bus stop was less than block. Lots of restaurants close by as well. I enjoyed it very much.

The salon sitting area wasn’t really encouraged. I went in there to sit and write in my journal (just to get out of my room), and the electricity wasn’t even on. They turned it on after they saw I was going to stay in there. It’s a very pretty room- it’s a shame it doesn’t get used more.

Pleasant , welcoming reception staff who spoke english. Simple, smooth check-in 3 mins walk from maria zambrano station Plenty of eating establishments within a few minutes walk The Port is a 5 minute walk, beach 10 mins. A Simple room with Twin beds, plenty of clothes hangers, a Security safe No external window, but the bonus is no traffic noise or fumes! It is well illuminated though via ceiling spotlights and there is a large, long wall mounted dressing mirror. There is a walkway immediately outside the bedroom window so it is necessary to keep the curtains closed if you want privacy, which meas you do not have natural light. The rooms are set around a lovely central atrium which is nicely illuminated at night. Air con is fitted and working great, a wall mounted TV with spanish only channels apart from Sky news Bathroom was roomy, adorning a Hairdryer, and to my wifes delight, a makeup mirror! The room was well presented and spotlessly clean. There is a telephone in the room which is usefull for contacting reception. Buffet style breakfast is available, €9.50 at the time of our stay, we didnt indulge as we had an early checkout. There was a lovely lounge at reception level.

The shower could do with a minor refresh, the shower head arm was rusty and some shower tray silicone sealant missing with mould forming. There is an extractor fan which was very noisey, requiring replacement. Twin beds each with a bedside cupboard with a bedsise lamp, a shuko electric socket but no USB facility to charge devices, so you'll need to lug your own charger. My wifes hair stuck to a sticky residue on the continental headboard that was due to a missing decorative trim. Sound insulation wasnt great. Could hear people moving around and having a pee in the bathroom upstairs, xand their equally noisey extractor fan! The bed was very firm, it felt like sleeping on a bed if pebbles due to feeling the springs, so not a very restful night was had.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Don Paco during my visit to Malaga, and I must say it was a delightful experience. This charming hotel nestled in the heart of the historic district provided a cozy retreat that perfectly complemented my exploration of the city. The location of Hotel Don Paco a four minute walk from Malaga Central Train Station - ESTACIÓN DE MÁLAGA MARÍA ZAMBRANO. An 8 minute train journey, the price of a ticket is €1.70. Its proximity to key attractions made it easy for me to navigate and discover the city's hidden gems on foot. My room was well-designed and thoughtfully appointed. The comfortable bed provided a restful night's sleep, and the modern amenities met all my needs. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, adding to the overall sense of comfort and relaxation. In conclusion, Hotel Don Paco is a hidden gem in Malaga, offering a cozy and welcoming haven for travellers seeking a genuine experience in the heart of the city. With its attentive staff, comfortable accommodations, and prime location, this hotel is a solid choice for those looking to immerse themselves in the charm of Malaga. I would gladly return for another stay at Hotel Don Paco on my next visit to this beautiful city.

The breakfast was with good quality products (pan and tomatoes, croissants and jam..) good coffee machine but poor taste for the tea bags (English would be better than ordinary Spanish standard tea). The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful even for foreigner customers.

I did not like the taste of the hot water in the machine. It did not affect the taste of the coffee but did not taste good with my own tea bags from England. What was a bit surprising was the darkness of my bedroom during daylight.I had to turn on the light. But at night ,there was a changing colors light in the inner courtyard all night long. Both pretty and useful.

Kind and professional staff ( speaking mostly Spanish but understand English). Strategic location next to central train and bus station and public bus to center and beaches. Large supermarket ( Mercadona) in the station building. Walking distance to center (20 min) and opposite direction to Playa la Misericordia where you can find cheaper fish restaurants and beautiful beach to relax. A a solo traveller I felt very safe there. Would stay again.

Missed kettle in the room or to borrow in reception during winter season. Staff was kind to offer me warm water from a kitchen maschine but kettle would be a thing to improve.
