+ Nice spacious room. + Quick and efficient check-in. + Friendly staff at the reception.
- At the breakfast buffet the staff was directly touching food items with their fingers to rearrange it. We decided to not go there anymore for the following days. - Though the hotel location is great, the town is pretty empty outside of the season or the weekend. Luckily, there was a baroque market street fair while we were there. If you want more activities or food options I recommend staying in Segovia and make a day trip to San Ildefonso instead.

Such a wonderful and charming property!! It is so nice to stay at a hotel that has history and was not overhauled to be cookie-cutter. The breakfast was very worth it with warm food made to order, a highlight I was not expecting!
The location, though great to visit the area around is not very well connected to the train station nor to Segovia central town. A hotel of this caliber should have some options available for its guests ahead of time to avoid them the worry and headache. That said, they did help get a taxi when asked!

This is a lovely place to stay in La Granja, a beautiful, historic town with nice bars and restaurants. The gardens and royal palace are fabulous. It's a short journey to Segovia and there is good walking in the hills above the town, and good cycling opportunIties too. If you've read For Whom the Bell Tolls you will appreciate a little of La Granja's more recent history. Parking for the Parador is close and safe.
We had very little interaction with staff as the covid protocols mean that all information about the Parador is accessed by scanning a QR code. This made for a more impersonal visit, Although the room was very large and comfortable the shower wasn't great.

Large room and en suite. Good breakfast. Friendly, efficient staff. Nice patio inside hotel. Gardens and palace a few hundred metres away. Very busy at weekend.
Parking mainly away from the hotel approx 250 metres. Hotel a bit difficult to find because of one way system and Parador sign posts either non existent or inaccurate. Slippery bath when showering. Food in restaurant ( two nights) was at best average.

It was an enjoyable first Parador experience. Staff was friendly and efficient, the room was large, bright and clean. Parking lot is available just nearby and the place is central near all points of interest. You can feel the ancient history through the bricks walls, the whole complex is well-designed. I recommend going for the breakfast, it is tasty and complete. The outdoor Swimming pool is free and must be booked in advance due to Covid measures. You can also access to the SPA at an extra cost of 30€/pax.
Due to short availability, we were given twin beds even if I pre-requested the double bed in my booking comment.

The hotel was beautiful. The room was very, very nice and spacious and had everything we needed and more. The pool and roof top area was nice.
Our room was located at street level and had people walking by right outside our window. Breakfast was 19€ per person which I thought was too expensive compared to other prices in Spain.

- You need to book a visit to SPA in advance and we weren’t informed about it. So we couldn’t visit it on the day that we intended to. - Soundproofing is not very good. We could hear what the neighbors were talking about.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is great. We would have loved to stay longer!
We had to work from there for a few hours and the WiFi was a bit weak in some parts of the room, but nothing that prevented us from working (unfortunately).

This parador has a spa and offers massage services.. The location is a bit out of the tourist way. The rooms are classic parador style rooms and very nice.
Parking is down the street and there is no one to help you with the luggage.
