Drago Hostel

My stay at Drago Hostel was much better than expectet. The Hostel is very clean. The Staff cleaning every day, so you find nowhere dirt. The Hostel has everything you need. Enough space in the Kitchen with perfect equipment. Every room has a box in the fridge where you can keep your food. The Hostel has a big roofgarden with a nice view on the sea or the pico de teide. Furthermore there is a washing service and you get a good breakfast. The Staff is really nice. Very friendly people so you will love to hang out with them for having a good conversation or playing cards etc. (If you want). And the food they made like breakfast or dinner (selfmade cake, Humus, Pizza for example) is awesome. So i can fully recommend this place 👍🏻

This hostel has a lovely terrace area where you can enjoy the breakfast and nice views. The staff were friendly. The style of the room was quirky and it was nice to have an en-suite. We managed to find parking in a free car nearby.

The only thing to mention is that it was a little bit far from the main town area and seems a little isolated at night - about 15 minutes walk to the central area. The light in the hallway is automatic and there is a window above the door to the bedroom so the light can cause a disturbance at night. Also there is a bathroom just outside the room with a noisy door, which can also cause a disturbance.

Overall a very nice place. The hostel has all the facilities you need. I've stayed in the hostel for over a month now and the vibe is always cheerful and the staff is always happy to help. A great plus is the breakfeast buffet, the curtains in the dorm room that give you some privacy, the food containers for each guest in the fridge and the yoga mats on the terrace!

The Wifi in the dorm room isn't always reliable but I recommend the biblioteca 15min by foot if you need longer work sessions.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and breakfast (which included veggie options and homemade bread and cake!) was included. The staff were absolutely lovely. I spent time chatting to them as well as the other travellers from around the world. There is a WhatsApp group which arranges day trips and activities. I signed up for two: Masca and Teide National Park with Andrea, and had a blast with both groups.

Some of the kitchen equipment needs fixing. Managed to get round it by cooking later but could see this being a problem when more than two people want to cook at the same time.

This very chill little hostel was the perfect base to set out for hikes over my two week stay. Good bus connections from the town. The staff were incredible and really genuine nice folks. The hostel chain offers trips to various hikes and a whatsapp group to plan with other travellers. Also a great breakfast every morning with fresh baked bread and cake!

They did offer a 'Bono week' but I didn't see it while making my booking on this site so you may have to contact directly. This is an offer for cheaper hiking trips along with moving between the other hostels

The best hostel on the island. Good location to visit the town and various places around, constantly clean, lockers, equipped kitchen, good Wi-Fi. Amazing and big breakfast. They bake fresh bread and delicious cakes every day. Caring, helpful, open, positive crew of the hostel, whom all I had a pleasure to meet and whom I miss. I also met nice travelers there. Looking forward to my return and seeing you guys again!

I loved my stay at the Drago Hostel. The people are very friendly and welcoming. The manager Fran was always available and very helpful. The breakfast is great with freshly baked bread and cakes every day. The common spaces are clean and comfortable. I totally recommend it.

The location is a bit far from the beach and uphill, but there are buses connecting the hostel with the coast.

Really good breakfast! Good price for a double room.

You had to go through outside patio from your double room to the toilet. Which, at night, is not pleasant. The welcome was underwhelming. No enthousiasm, little info, hesitant to show us around. It was the bare miniume. Later during our syat a new staff member started and took over, and she made us feel waaay more at home though.

I loved everything:-) The staff were amazing!! Many thanks to all but especially to Estefania and Ximena, who were super nice to chat to, I also appreciate my wonderfully smelling laundry. Breakfast was very tasty, I am vegan, there were plenty of options for me. I was staying in a private room with a bathroom, it was very comfortable and I felt like a queen. I also loved the large rooftop terrace with amazing views.
