B&B HOTEL Castellón

Great value for money, great location, great service. Rooms are a bit basic. Bathroom was very clean but a little bit dated. Breakfast was pretty good value for money. Free coffee, juice and water in the lobby.

EUR12.50 for having a small dog in the room and there are no facilities (not even a bowl for water. EUR11 for parking but no guarantee that there will be a parking place, and you can't reserve. The carparks for the hotel are a bit limited, and as is often the case in Spain, the spaces and access are really narrow.

The room is clean, cleaned daily and has a very good small refrigerator, the bed is big and comfortable, the bathroom is spacious. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the city center. A pleasant surprise was the fact that even though breakfast was not included, we benefited from juices, water or coffee 24/7. The security level is good, with a person permanently present at the reception who can help you.

If the room had been a little more spacious, everything would have been perfect.

Very good lighting. Big bed. Underground car park. Bars and cafes in easy walking distance. As we were a making a one night stop on a three day journey, the inward trek to the town center was a bore but for anyone wanting a city holiday, this was a perfect spot.

The hotel was fine but we were disappointed in Booking.com. When we got home and checked our credit card account we found an, as yet, unexplained charge of about €80 from Hotel at Booking.com, Amsterdam NL. We are still trying to contact them for repayment.

Wonderful staff, they helped immediately with an issue in my first room. I received a great cafe recommendation from the receptionist.

The rooms need some colour. White in white in white made me feel like being at a dentist. Some pillow covers in the colours of the logo would help a lot. The breakfast could use some vegan options, roasting the bigger baguette types is a bit time-consuming.

Nice to have tea and coffee available and complimentary, also parking in a central location was handy. The room was a good size, quite basic in furnishings but had everything you need. Breakfast had nice options. the lounge downstairs was nicely decorated.

The breakfast wasn't really monitored so they ran out of plates and cutlery and it looked a bit of a mess by the time I got there. The door lock system wasn't very good, I struggled to lock and unlock the hotel room.

Very well located for the centre of Castellón with its own underground car park at no extra charge. The hotel and room were clean, modern and had a very well priced breakfast. The free coffee machine is available 24/7. The staff were very friendly.

The room was modern but somewhat Spartan. There was no water glass either in the bedroom or bathroom. There was a lovely large walk-in shower and so the unimpressive shower head was a bit of a disappointment.

There was a great choice of breakfast, but as we stayed a week, it got a little bit boring as it hasn't changed from day to day. Still it was nice to have something before the day and it was worth the price.

The walls are thin so the noise from outside and sometimes from other rooms could be heard. The bed was a bit uncomfortable to our back but we know that the hardness of a bed is an individual preference, so it is nothing to be concerned about.

Excellent location. Close to bars and restaurants. Very good restaurant next door called Saona need to book hotel can do this. Short walk to city center. Rooms are comfy and clean. Free tea and coffee available in reception. All staff very helpful. Was able to park in hotels underground parking €10 but not able to pre book this so only if available but plenty of other parking nearby. Definitely would stay again all very convenient.

Not enough staff around, but was fine, for the time spent. I don't have any comments, but the booking system online could be a little simpler. As, two bookings came out in my name rather than two. I called from the Uk twice to rectify this, and it was not possible. Even when I checked in, a day later, was being told that I had not Checked in.

The staff were always friendly and helpful when needed and the room was comfortable enough. The hotel is near bus stops so it's very well connected, I recommend it for short stays like mine (2 days - 1 night).

The food available for breakfast was absolutely terrible. Worst quality possible, the "warm" parts were all cold and everything tasted like plastic. Definitely a waste of €8.50.
