The room was assigned to me was clean. The free breakfast (Cereal, Noodles, Bread with butter and Jam, Coffee both instant and brew) was added bonus. I also love that I can go and leave anytime and arrive at anytime since keys were provided to you. They also change the towels everyday. Hair blower/dryer was provided, too! Overall, I enjoyed my stay there.

It’s not much, but the walk to the property can be a challenge especially if you have a lot of things to carry. It’s almost at the top of the hill. But it was okay since it was winter. Didn’t sweat much.

It has washing machine, and the location is great, vcloseby the myeondong street & subway. the rooftop terrace is night esp at night.

you need to hike uphill at one corner of the alley and it can be tiresome when you return after a whole day journey elsewhere. The wooden floor at the rooftop terrace needs some repair works to be done as it is a bit decayed.

We spent 9 wonderful nights at Crib 49 and have already said that if we return to Seoul we would stay here again! The people who rated it poorly were clearly expecting a hotel! This is not a hotel and is not advertised as such! It is a guesthouse! It is kept exceptionally clean, the rooms are bigger than standard and the whole facility has such a lovely homely feel about it! The rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing and the location could not be better! We have stayed in a hotel in Seoul and way preferred this! As others have said - the hill going up to Crib 49 is intense but we actually liked it after a day of overindulging in Seouls delectable food!

The Yo beds take a bit of getting used to and while they are surprisingly more comfortable than one would expect; after 9 nights we are happy to be in our beds!

- everything was very clean - the host was very nice! - free food in the kitchen - beds are more comfortable as you’d think (since they’re futon beds) -6 minute walk into Centre

- youd hear every single time the people in the room next doors would use the restroom- the pipes were sooo loud, so the people next door woke up at 4.30 AM every morning and were using the bathroom of course, but also arguing all morning… so no sleep for us - though it didn’t rain, water was dripping off the ceiling onto the bed, but that’s just water so it was okay I think over all the hostel is 10/10, might just be the worst room we got 😅

The friendliness and hospitality of the owner. She is nice, helpful and always make sure the establishment is clean and is well stocked with supplies. We really appreciate her help with the replacement of the hairdryer, the laundry and the schedule of the airport bus, and also her suggestion on where to go in Seoul. The rooftop of the guesthouse is amazing. We can see the N Seoul Tower and the city’s skyline at night with their beautiful lights.

It is located high up in the hill. This is something that cannot be undone since the terrain is of Mother Nature’s origin. You as a guest have to be prepared to carry your luggage up the hill since some parts are steep.

this place it’s very convenient with the places that you want to see in Myeongdong.

the lady who serve us is very lovely she even assist us on the time that we came on early day. she never left is until we have a room to sleep. thank you so much.

I was greeted by a very welcoming and friendly host upon arrival, and immediately felt at home. The room was lovely and clean with a comfortable bed and all the space you could need. The staff were very helpful in providing me with tips on what to see and do in the area, and they went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable stay. The location was also fantastic, as it was easy to walk to all the local attractions and restaurants. At the same time, the area was quiet and peaceful at night, so I could sleep well. I would highly recommend Crib 49 to anyone looking for a comfortable and cosy stay in this lovely city. Many thanks to the hosts for making my stay so memorable!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Crib 49 in South Korea for my 2nd time and I cannot recommend this place enough! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic and it was all thanks to the incredibly helpful host. The location of Crib 49 is perfect, with easy access to all of the main attractions in the area. The room itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had all of the facilities that I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable and I slept like a baby every night. But what really made my stay at Crib 49 stand out was the host's exceptional level of service. From the moment I arrived, they were there to greet me and offer any help or advice that I needed. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great stay and were always on hand to answer any questions that I had. I really appreciated the personal touch that the host brought to my stay. They were genuinely interested in making sure that I had a great time in South Korea and were always happy to provide recommendations for places to eat, drink and explore. All in all, my stay at Crib 49 was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in South Korea.
