Best Western Haeundae Hotel

We went in mid-April, and the area around the hotel wasn't as busy as we had imagined, although it was a commercial area, it was quite peaceful. The hotel is located in front of a wide main street where there are strategic spots along it where residents and tourists take plenty of photos both day and night. The hotel is conveniently situated just a few steps away from the beach, street food, restaurants, bus stops (which go to many important tourist attractions), and it's also next to Olive Young, and relatively close to the station (a 10-minute walk), as well as other commercial areas (Daiso, Artbox, etc.). The hotel is well-organized, and our room was spacious enough for four people. The view was very nice as we could partially see the sea, although it gets quite windy on the balcony. Also, the staff who gave us the keys was very nice!!

The bathroom was also spacious, although there was no partition that completely separated the bathtub (where the shower is) from the rest of the bathroom (like in other hotels we stayed at in Korea), and the water that fell into the bathtub drained a bit slowly through the drain. One slight drawback is that due to the shampoo packaging, a large amount of shampoo would come out (perhaps we didn't handle it well), so by the second day, there was no more shampoo. Since we had brought some with us on the trip, it wasn't a problem.

Walking distance to beach, partial sea view as stated, convenience store 2 doors down and a Subway for quick meal. It met all of our needs. Taxi reasonable to get across town. About 25 minutes to Magnate. ??Hotel helper make an "ARMY'S" dream!

Loved the location and proximity to the subway. The room was also set up well for 3 people.

The bathroom drains appeared blocked - shower water took quite a while to drain completely from the bath.

Location is very central and convenient. Staff was polite. Housekeeping did a great job!

Windows are not very sound proof. Lots of noise from the street and music from bars on the main road.

Location is excellent - about 2 mins walk to Haeundae Beach, 5 minutes to Haeundae Station. Haeundae night market is just opposite the hotel which is amazing!!! Love our stay!! We’ll be back stay at Best Western Haeundae Beach again

The location was great! Beds were comfortable and enjoyed the view!

A little run down. Mold, water spot on ceiling in bathroom and windows were very dirty. Wall paper coming off. Needs some repair and update.

The room was great! Clean, cozy and with comfortable beds. The bathroom was also in excellent conditions. We spent only one night there but we wished we could have stayed longer! The location was perfect. It is very close to the beautiful beach, the Busan X the Sky tower, the sky capsule, the night market and places to eat and drink. The neighborhood was full of life and everything around looks so pretty and clean. If I moved to Korea, this is the area I’d want to live in. Transportation is a bit complicated if you want to visit the other attractions in Busan. We made several trips that took from 45 to 90 minutes. And depending on the time of the day, traffic could make traveling by taxi way longer than expected. But staying in Haeundae is worth it. One thing that I really loved about the hotel is that the staff was amazing. They were extremely helpful and very friendly. They had no issue speaking English. Everything was fantastic during our stay in Busan. I totally recommend Best Western Haeundae Hotel.

The location of the hotel is awesome . Just on huandae beach . Lobby is on floor 2 . Staff spoke good english . We chose a korean suite room and the view was better than described . The partial sea view also world class . We stayed just one night . Korean futon mats x4 were good, and we enjoyed the heated floors, etc . The Washroom look feel was also great.

The washroom had a bunch of hair that was sticking on the loo door as well as a bathrub ..that came as a shock . Maybe it was a one-off case , and the housekeeping came in quickly and resolved it . There is new construction going on in the vicinity, and the drill machine makes it crazy in the daytime . Ameneties like toothbrush wasnt free, and they charged 1000 won for 1 set .

Awesome location. Located on Heundae pedestrian street mall, right across from the Heundae night market, 100m from Heundae Beach with 7 Eleven and Olive Young located on the ground floor. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was a blessing after coming from Jeju, where most workers were just grumpy grumpy.

The mattress is too firm for me. I prefer my mattress with memory foam topper. This is reflective of all hotels in Korea, including my stay at InterContinental in Seoul.

The hotel was within walkable distance from the station and is near to attractions around Haeundae. There are convenience stalls, food places, and Olive Young just right below the hotel building. The staff were very helpful and tried their best to assist us during our stay.

It is hard to get an early breakfast around the area as most places only open around 10-11 am. The best bet will be to get quick bites from convenience stalls/cafes like Starbucks.
