Hyatt House San Juan

There is no bar, or at least no bartender most of the day. People want drinks while on vacation, not the market that just sells beer, juice and wine. Mix drinks and cocktails for me please!

The swing tv table and the sofa bed. Didn't expect the kitchenette to be so nice and complete. The grater really cracked me up.

The divider between spaces (tv stand and all) was (what seemed to me like ) water damaged at the bottom and, besides looking ugly it didn't look healhty. Might sound like being picky but water damage can cause all kinds of respiratory and health problems if not taken care of soon enough.

Great breakfast selection every morning. The hotel was clean and fairly quiet. Everything seemed to be close or quick drive to visit. There's chain restaurants within walking distance. Near a highway.

There's a daily parking fee. The hotels pool is small. The location is not close to a beach nor near local Spanish food.

They do have options of what food you can choose from. The room overall was very clean.. The staff was friendly and kind. They were very helpful.. I would come back to enjoy my stay at Hyatt House. They give options on what breakfast you like and unlimited juice, coffee and tea from 6am-9am. Beautiful area and nice pool, pool table, gym and lounge area.

The room had a weird smell like mold or mop that was soaked in water for a couple of days with used cleaning solution. The smell didn't leave. My love ones had a room above from mines and they said it had a similar smell. I don't know if its from mopping or cleaning the rug but it wasn't pleasant. The breakfast wasn't to pleasing, it tasted more like processed precooked food like the eggs and the pancakes taste like frozen microwave box pancakes. Not to my liking wish the breakfast was better.

breakfast was great, having access to take away containers was a plus. the pool staying open late at night was great. very well kept environment and clean surroundings. staff was very friendly and helpful giving us information on the area and where are the best places to visit. would definitely go and stay there again

loved everything but would like soft background music while in the pool. it sets the mood an ambience. i know it may be a challenge but including free lunch or dinner would be a plus as well. including more activities for the kids would also be a plus, only had pool table and table soccer

The room was comfortable and a nice size room. It was quiet and had a small kitchen and countertop that made it feel like home. The bathroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was always very friendly. The only downside was that when entering the room, it had a strong smell of humidity. Maybe if they use some sort of DampRid or air freshener it would make it much better. Overall, a great experience.

The hotel is beautiful and comfortable... And Puerto Rico is now one of my favorite islands.... Its peaceful and a friendly community.... I coming back... I dont know when but I coming..... If you gonna stay in the San juan area... I really recommend you get your own rental because the cab service is difficult and crew is a 11 for uber and cab.. So its best to have your own rental....

The room was spacious and the furniture was well placed to maximize the space. The bathroom was nice with modern touches, like the touch lights on the mirror. The breakfast was good with the omlettes made to order by the friendly chef. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location being just walking distance from the convention center, and a short drive to the cruise port and airport and Plaza des Americas. There was a shuttle that took you Old San Juan. That was really great.

The room was pricey.

I had to change the room because the A/C was not working. Some of the furniture in both rooms were in a visible bad shape from what I guess is the normal wear and tear. Other than that, it feat the purpose of my stay which was a comfortable quiet place to submerge in all the work that I need to complete. The hotel seemed to be full, but I did not find it to be noisy. The staff was very attentive and helpful with my needs.

In my stay, breakfast was included. I know we are dealing with the Covid pandemic the best way people and companies can, but the breakfast was very bad, not tasty at all, the use of cheap ingredients was evident. I ate very little of it and I just basically jumped from breakfast to order lunch in.

Very comfortable, clean room. Friendly, accommodating staff. Good breakfast.

Restaurant in the evening didn't seem well equipped. Wanted to order a salad and was told none were available. Asked if the food was made fresh and was told all was frozen? Went to Longhorn Steakhouse behind property to bring back food to my wife who wasn't feeling wel and it too 1 1/2 hours.
