Quinta da Luz - A Luxury Boutique B&B0

Its a very serene place. Very good to reset. Gardens are very pretty and beds are very confortable. Breakfast was very good with homemade breads and jams, but very hot because there are no shades in the beakfast area. Very clean.

It would be a great to have a coffee machine and a kettle for tea in the rooms. Too hot in the breakfast area. Asked for another glass of fresh orange juice and the answer was "NO. no longer have it. only pre made juice"( even though we were told we could repeat anything else that was served) I think an extra orange juice, specially in the property that have hundreds of orange trees) is not so dificult to make. It made me feel very unconfortable and we found it very odd.

Really had a wonderful stay at Quinta Da Luz. Rented a car from Faro and this location was superb. Quiet but within driving distance to so many towns. Travelled all along the Algarve and it never felt like too much of a drive to anywhere. Our hosts Kristin and Tobias were super friendly and their PDF guide which was provided ahead of our arrival gave us some great recommendations. The breakfast was lovely each morning and the pool was perfect in terms of size/temperature. With a small number of guests staying there, it really felt like we had the place to ourselves. The honesty bar was really handy as you could help yourself to drinks/snacks from the fridge and pay a tab at the end of the visit. The wifi was strong. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds super comfy. Highly recommend staying there if a busy party town isn't your vibe.

Super ontbijt, fantastische ligging. Midden in de natuur. Dear Kristin and Tobias We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful quinta. The room was very comfortable and it had a fantastic view over your beautiful garden and valley. The smell of the orange trees is what we will certainly miss. Your breakfasts are fantastic and your homemade food is exactly what you need to start another fine day at the Algarve. We have been driving around in the Algarve quite a lot but were always so happy to 'come home'. Silves is a beautiful little city, great restaurants, very kind people. It is a perfect place to start exploring the Algarve. Thanks again for your good care and warm welcome.

Lovely location. owners were lovely and very welcoming. room was very comfortable Breakfast was different but very nice and we really liked the variety that gave us Lots of places to sit and relax in the gardens. Close to a lot of attractions in the area which were easy to visit Will definitely visit again when we return to the Algarve.

only problem was that swimming pool was out of action with work being needed. not the owners fault but disappoint8n*. would have given a 10 out if 10 otherwise

Great place to stay with personal atmosphere! The hosts Tobias and Christin are always super friendly, supportive and try their best to fulfill all your wishes. They have awesome restaurant recommendations and tell you the best day trips to beaches or cities. The whole area is surrounded by orange trees and beautiful nature. The bed and breakfast has 8 nice rooms, all have their own entrance and a little terrace. Everything is clean and made with love! You’ll get a delicious breakfast, including freshly made orange juice and fruits, bread, cheese, ham etc. We‘ll definitely come back!

The breakfast was delicious and left us satisfied until dinner! Very friendly couple hosting us who went out if their way to make our stay as enjoyable and easy as possible. . The restaurant bookings were extremely helpful and and we had amazing meals at all the places recommended. Horse riding booking was another bonus and got me brownie points with my wife! The bedrooms were also very comfortable and the small driving range was a nice little bonus to hit a few small white balls.

A beautiful place to stay nestled in the Algarve countryside close to the charming town of Silves. Kristin and Tobias made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts each day on the terrace overlooking the gardens, a well kept pool area to relax in and the most clean and comfortably appointed room you could wish for. It is preferable to have a car to explore the area, with Silves only a 5 minute drive and beaches/towns within 20 minutes drive. This is a very special place to stay, thank you Kristin and Tobias - we would love to return!

Nothing - we loved it all!

Quinta da Luz was a true oasis of tranquility. The owners, Kristin & Tobias make you feel at home the minute you arrive while their dog, Tibo will also come and take a look to say hello. The rooms are spacious, clean & the bathroom has a Bluetooth connection for music and different colors of light which adjust according to your atmoshpere. Furthermore, the enormous garden with orange & lemon trees allows you to clear your thoughts and enjoy the Portuguese sun. If you want to cool down, there is a refreshing swimming pool & you can choose different sun beds either under the trees or at the swimming pool to relax. If you need anything, Kristin & Tobias will take care of it or give you great advice on which restaurants you should visit. During the day we received different snacks from the hosts which where delicious and showed that they really take care of their guests. In the morning, we were treated to a wonderful breakfast with freshly home made jams, fruits and omelet’s. We as a couple, most definitely recommend this lovely Boutique as it allows you to relax, enjoy the Portuguese climate with terrific hosts. Many thanks to Kristin, Tobias & Tobi ;)

We had a very lovely stay at the beautiful quinta! Kristin and Tobias made us feel very welcome and embraced us from the moment we arrived. Its a beautiful location, renovated and decorated with love and attention! The room was nice and spacious, the beds very comfortable and the breakfast finger licking good! The fresh fruits, homemade bread, jams and eggs from the chickens... need to say more?! Kristin and Tobias thank for your hospitality and taking care of us! Hugs for Tibo!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Quinta da Luz. Everything is perfectly thought for you to have a relaxing, quality time. The hosts, Kristin and Tobias are kind, very attentive to your need but also descreet. They are simply available if you need them but let you be as you want in the domain. Their motto as soon as we arrived : feel at home. And it’s quite a sucess, we felt at home the first day ! There is only 8 rooms, it’s not an industrial place. We loved the honesty bar by the pool : you can pick up beer, quality wine, water and simply mark it on a notebook. There is always good music around the place, not to loud but just perfect when you chill around the pool with a fresh gin tonic (yes Toby made that for you too !) Kristin is a « cordon bleu » : breakfast is fresh and eggs are amazing. They also have a snack during the day with tasty salad and flamenkuche. They also advise us for good restaurant and even booked for us one of them ! Beside this amazing atmosphere, the rooms are incredibly beautiful, with qualitative furniture. There is nothing we did not like about this place.
