Amendoeira Golf Resort

Been coming for 10 years, love the quietness of the resort, apartment and well kept grounds

The children’s pools are losing tiles and dangerous, the breakfast is a little antiquated now (be nice to introduce more modern breakfast ideas like smoothies, acai bowls etc. Some of the tiles/cobbles around the resort need repair

The accommodation is lovely. However (at our request) we stayed in the same villa as last year but had to call maintenance the for exactly the same faults.

The restaurant service/staff is either good or appalling. No happy medium.

The apartment was excellent and the golf course was in great condition

Several essential items missing from the apartment. Only 2 pool towels for 5 people. No oven glove, t towel, dish cloth and fluid to wash dishes, no ice tray. Air conditioning unable to adjust, only by turning on or off, no instructions. A beautiful mosaic table on the balcony but only one chair!! Reception didn’t speak enough English to solve these problems. No discount for residents green fees!! No shop on site!! This should be essential for self catering apartments. 30 euro taxi required to go to supermarket

This resort definitely exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully presented, very clean and has lots to do within the resort. The apartment was clean and spacious and we the facilities within the apartment were excellent. The staff were friendly and very polite and check in and out was easy. The fellow holiday makers were also friendly which was nice. We hired a car and had an allocated parking space which was great. The location was also good but only with a car as the local beaches and amenities are not within walking distance. We will definitely be booking again!! : )

Well design and big apartment

Too far from main reception, no swimming pool nearby

The apartment was spacious and also clean. It is a lovely place to stay and we have done 5 times now and this is the forst time that we have had a grumble.The staff at the sports centre were very helpful and polite. You are in a beautiful part of the world. Check in, parking all good. Car is essential.

It just looks a bit tired in places. The sun loungers are old and not good. The towels were horrible and there are not any at the sports centre anymore for some unknown reason. The beds were rock hard. It is annoying that a courtesy bus into Armacao de Pera was advertised but was not running anymore. 20 euro cab each way.

What an amazing apartment. It was beautifully styled and decorated. It was a really good size, with three amazing bathrooms. It looked like it had been recently decorated! The lounge was a great size, as was the kitchen. Every detail was thought of, with loads of extra features like washing machine and coffee machine. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. The breakfast was amazing.

There were no sockets by the beds.

Apartments are really nice and clean, could do with more equipment in the kitchen to enable you to cook food as the local town is a taxi ride away and it’s nice to cooks something lunch time for the kids

Pool bar didn’t open on Friday 14th July, we rang the reception who thought it was open, some people were leaving on a late flight and couldn’t get any cold drinks or food from the hut.

Fabulous resort on quite impressive area designed especially for golfers . Quite at this time of the year . Clean and proper housekeeping ! Friendly permanent personnel carrying to solve your demands . The apartment we had very spacious and well designed .

The pool area not guarded/ music from the pool bar too loud / tourists drinking excessively and playing music from their Bluetooth speakers in parallel with the music from the pool bar / pool water filtration / cleaning not properly done . All in all we have avoided to use the swimming pool area …..

Could be a little bit cleaner (floor, corrosions of the flush button) We missed some things in the kitchen like a pan and a colander
