Check in was super easy. Everything was spotless. The room was ready early and the host let us know. In a quiet area of town. There was a nice outdoor area that was completely secure. We were able to store our bikes in the outdoor garden. The kitchen was complete and very clean. There are tables and chairs for sitting and eating both in the garden and the kitchen. TB has Netflix and Disney channels. Staff was helpful and very sweet.

Room on the small side. Bathroom bathroom was large.

Very clean place lovely ladie Teresa always with a smile and ready to help, the locals were really friendly, and even had a good chat with a couple of neighbour's.The place was amazing close to town center, rustic and memorable, good wifi, the ac worked really well, and your spoiled for cofe shops good coffee to, also very close to Castelo Branco were the restaurantes are amazing, can't wait to go back and take some friends with me. Will be looking to stay at the same place again.

There was only one problem and if anything it was mine, I sleep on my side and I'm use to a soft mattress, now I found the bed hard for my liking, but to be honest most places I stayed in the bed felt hard. Like I Said its mostly my problem and its difficult to please everyone, a hard bed is good for your back but bad on your hips and shoulders if your a side sleeper.

Very nice and pleasant apartment with small balcony at the very heart of old Alcains. Impeccable cleanliness!

I would say it would be nice to add a single seater couch to relax and reading in the bedroom...

The host was incredibly accommodating about our late arrival. Once there, we met another guest who had stayed there several times simply because she liked it so well. And so did we. We liked the rooms because they were un-fussy and nicely done. Details like the lighting were thoughtfully done. The heating worked well -- it was a chilly night. In the morning we had breakfast served by Theresa, who spoke English and was incredibly kind. It was our first night on a longer trip and got us started well.

Nothing occurs to me.

New and very modern. A nice unit tasefully decorated - not the standard IKEA that is so common these days.. The bathroom was great and hot water didn't run out.. We liked it very much..

There isn't any parking.

Air-conditioning was very good, as was the walk in shower. Shared kitchen had everything you could need and when someone used our milk the cleaner instantly offered us a replacement. Excellent value.

No parking so we had to carry our bags from around the corner. They have parking reserved for disabled only, which is understandable.

The rooms and house is fully renovated. The cleaning and check in process is very good. The location is in the old area of Alcains. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking.

The rooms are minimalist and tidy; however there is a lack of basics like hangers and some shelves. The internet connection wasn’t good at the room.

it’s close to castelo branco and Fudao and coimbra great location, very clean.

people steal your food if kept in the fridge, advise was given to label the fridge with room numbers to help prevent this. No compensation offered

An old renovated house split into comfortable self contained rooms with a shared kitchen. The property is tucked away down a very small lane in town.

Vehicular access to the property is difficult but parking is only 200 mtrs away

The staff was very friendly and the rooms very clean and well preserved, everything looked quite modern. The mood was very relaxing

The breakfast could have a bit more variety, but at the same time, in such a small accomodation I understand that it can be quite wasteful, and never felt like the food wasn't enough
