Hotel Senacki

The location was excellent in the middle of the old town, 1st thing to greet me was a beautifully hand written welcome letter & a small box of chocolates which i found really touching! Suite room number 1 was exceptional and immaculately clean, good selection mini bar topped up daily, huge bathroom, super size bed with crisp white bedding huge pillows and I slept like a log every night. Its a continental breakfast in cellar room which was exceptional with beautifully prepared fruit and good choices of meats, cheese, breads and pastries. But the kingpin holding the hotel together is the reception staff as the central point, especially Norbert who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. 1st night I realised I had no 2 pin adaptors for any of my appliances!!! He went and found 3 for me and even delivered them to my room the same night! Excellent spoken English, organised our trips and nothing was too much trouble for any of them.! I hope the managers are all proud of the excellent customer service their staff provide. Very highly recommended.👏👏👏

Breakfast staff efficient and polite but lack of communication meant the only English they knew was scrambled eggs??! Which we had 5 days in a row...but they were tasty and they kept the breakfast food and ingredients topped up each time. Couldve done with some grilled tomatoes to go with the lovelysausages and scrambled eggs ! 😊

I stayed at this hotel from 23/03/2023-28/03/2023. I feel delighted to have found Hotel Senacki, having originally booked alternative accommodation for my visit to Kraków. The room was well-furnished and an ideal size for a solo traveller, with facilities and amenities included such as free coffee, ironing board, hair dryer, and toiletries provided. The breakfast was a continental buffet and tasted delicious, and there are water-coolers on each floor to refill water bottles, which I found useful. Also, the staff would prepare a packed lunch for days were I would miss the continental breakfast due to either attending excursions early in the morning or leaving early to go to the airport for my flight home. The staff at the reception desk were very knowledgeable and answered any questions which I had. I would highly recommend Hotel Senacki to anyone wanting to stay in a quiet hotel, a safe distance away from the noise of the Old Town Square/Rynek Glowny, which is still in a convenient location between that location and Wawel Hill.

My only criticism would be that there was a noticeable gap for the hallway light to shine through the door frame of a nighttime whilst I was trying to fall asleep, and some guests didn't observe the nighttime silence.

Lovely hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was good with a reasonable selection. Room was a good size. We were right at the top of the hotel so the windows were very small but that wasn't a problem. As with most city hotels outside noise was loud all night which meant we couldn't have the windows open and it was a little bit hot in the room but this wasn't too much of a problem. Had a few drinks in the prosecco and oyster bar which was very good value for money, £3 for a glass. The location couldn't have been better and would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Krakow.

The only gripe we had was that we booked tickets to Schindler's factory through the hotel. We checked that we would be getting a guided tour but when we arrived there, it turned out that they were just tickets to enter the museum. It would have cost a lot less if we had just turned up and paid at the time. We did ask at reception but they couldn't really help us.

Good communication and quick responses before travel. The hotel also booked our airport transfers as we were due to land at 00.30 and fly home at 6.20am. They gave the price and advised drivers took cash and card, which was very useful. Drivers were very punctual too. Check in was quick and easy. Room was nice and clean and had everything you'd need. Breakfast was lovely and had a wide range of choices, set us up for the day. Location is excellent, very very central and walkable to alot of sights. Highly recommended staying here

Having to leave!

Beautiful Hotel and lovely friendly staff. Lovely breakfast to set you up for the day The hotel is in a great location in the old town and our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the street and the church. It was surprisingly quiet considering all the activity outside. We had waited nearly 3 years due to covid and numerous flight cancellations and I must say it was worth the wait and we will definitely return. Thank you all at the Senacki.

Nothing we didn't like we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

The breakfast was lovely and fresh. The hotel is quite small and situated a few minutes walk outside the main town square, so was very central making it easy to walk everywhere. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and lovely. The staff left a gift in our room for my partners birthday, which was a lovely cake and a really friendly and nice gesture.

The hotel has a beautiful basement area, which they use for breakfast. It would make a lovely bar area for guests to relax in the late afternoon or evening. The hotel does have an inter-joining door to the Prosseco and Oyster Bar, next door. We found this very formal with tables and chairs, and not somewhere to relax after a busy day. We went for the Christmas Market, on the coldest day it hit -17.

We visited Krakow for 24hrs (family of 5) and could not have wished for a better location. The hotel is really well situated in the old town, only a few minutes from the main square. we loved the huge rooms which were spotless and very comfortable. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. I will come here again!

Nothing to fault. Great hotel. A point to note: We had a hire car and there is no parking at the hotel. Obviously not the hotel’s fault. There is parking nearby but it’s expensive. We might have been better off returning the car before getting to Krakow.

So, so happy I booked this hotel. My Mam and I stayed for 3 days over Christmas and I don't have a single complaint. Beds were super comfortable and I had a lovely view of the church and street, the hotel was spotless from top to bottom. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, something for everyone. You are right in the beautiful old town when you stay here. I would definitely stay again. Rooms are also great value

Great hotel in a great location. 5 min walk to main square and the castle. Staff were very friendly and helpful. From check in to check out. Breakfast has a lot of choice with some really good food. The 2 girls doing the breakfast area on the Saturday and Sunday were fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble and were very welcoming. For the price and location this hotel is perfect

Nothing not to like.

Everything! Amazing location. A beautiful character hotel with an amazing dining room in the basement. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom,. Lovely personalised welcome message was left for me in the room. Breakfast served early, even at the weekend and with plenty of choices. Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
